Serves as the local regulatory body assisting the Department of Health with local EMS organizations throughout a six-county region. Conducts inspections, facilitates quality assurance programs, provides education and training, and assists other EMS organizations.

Provides continuing education programs and social events for member dentists. Also helps dentists who are new to the area become settled and established.

Advocates for public access to psychological services, educates and supports the professional development of members, educates the public through the dissemination and application of psychological knowledge, and maintains and builds organizational strength. Also offers an online tool to help consumers find a local psychologist.

Provides information on dental matters to the community.
