Provides specialized, goals-based assistive technology (AT) assessment, education, and support services for persons with disabilities and older adults seeking to increase independence, social engagement, or life management through technology. Services may include AT device acquisition, email use and management, environmental hardware set up, smart home implementation, online life skills development (online shopping, social media, telehealth, etc.), accessible gaming, troubleshooting, and more.

NEPA's Research & Information Center utilizes the IMPLAN® modeling software to better understand and monitor our regional economy. The software ensures economic development decision-makers have accurate data and scenario summaries to make sound decisions. Using IMPLAN we can answer the following questions: How does the local economy function? What are the economic consequences/impacts of this project? What is the effect of this company/base closure?

Accepts requests from agencies to add services to database.

Offers training for its many software packages, including financial, student, and tax applications so agency staff can better utilize important features. Beginner and advanced level classes are often available, as well as training that covers time-critical functions, such as end-of-year processes and reports. Depending on specific training content, training may be tailored as a half- or full-day session or as a webinar, allowing participants to get their training from an Internet-connected PC without leaving the office.
