Compiles and maintains the registration of all voters for use at all elections; prepare and publish notices of elections and lists of offices for which candidates are to be nominated; accept and verify nomination petitions; prepare official and specimen ballots and administer the campaign expenditure act. Responsible for establishing voting precincts and locations of polling places for each voting precinct; training of election officers to staff the polls on election day and preparing all election supplies to be used at the polls on election day.

Serves as the governing legislative body for Carbon County. Oversees county operations, including administration/ human resources, economic development, corrections, court services, emergency services, fiscal affairs, human services, public works, and the offices of the Coroner, Public Defender, Sheriff, and Solicitor.

The Clinton County Voter Registration / Elections Office maintain all activities relating to Voter Registration and Elections under the supervision of the Clinton County Board of Elections. This is the office that processes voter registration forms, prepares all supplies for Elections and schedules all activities that are necessary before, during and after Election Day.
