Offering a clothing swap. Fill up a bag with your outgrown clothes, old toys, small shoes and kid's books and then trade them for clothes, shoes, toys and books they can use. All kids sizes are available, from infants to adult. Also offering free maternity clothes and breastfeeding supplies. Bring some bags and fill them for free! This is a free community event that is open to everyone!

The street reach coordinator collaborates with everyone to access housing, employment, medical care, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, and other services while advocating for housing solutions for clients. Offers showers and laundry any day of the week from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 3:00pm to 5:00pm. There is a sign-up sheet out front and then admitted into the building into the lobby to wait for the shower time. Coffee and snacks, free clothing bins, winter coats, tents, sleeping bags, and mail pick-up are also being served while waiting.

Providing a one day winter coat drive and giveaway such as coats, hats, scarves, gloves, and blankets.

Also provides bedding and some clothing. The host church provides the space, a hot meal, and breakfast. No children under 18 years old. No service animals allowed.

Elementary students are introduced to The Nurse’s Pantry through school nurses, principals and guidance counselors. In addition to attire, The Nurse’s Pantry also provides hygiene items, appropriate footwear, outerwear, undergarments, and lice treatment kits. The United Way has created and facilitates The Nurse’s Pantry in 34 schools throughout the Wyoming Valley.

Collects and distributes various baby items including clothing, blankets, infant sleepers, bibs, socks, diapers, winter outfits, hooded towels, and washcloths.

Works with Veterans Affairs to determine the greatest needs of veterans in the community in order to supply them with comfort items to improve their quality of life.

Provides a day shelter with support services for those experiencing homelessness or poverty. Regular Sunday meals are provided. Hosts clothing and blanket distributions seasonally as well as special parties and picnic events. Also accepts donations.
