Provides holiday food baskets for Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. Turkey vouchers are available for Thanksgiving. Also offers winter clothing distribution and holiday toys and gifts each Christmas.

Provides coats for children in need. Registration is in September online for October Distribution. Coat sizes: 2T-Young Adult. Infants under 2T will only receive hats, gloves and blankets. Accept donations of NEW coats for distribution to children in need at the Salvation Army office anytime during regular business hours.

Elementary students are introduced to The Nurse’s Pantry through school nurses, principals and guidance counselors. In addition to attire, The Nurse’s Pantry also provides hygiene items, appropriate footwear, outerwear, undergarments, and lice treatment kits. The United Way has created and facilitates The Nurse’s Pantry in 34 schools throughout the Wyoming Valley.
