Red Bird Mental Health - Family Therapy

Providing family therapists to work with the entire family, both parents and children, to address issues in their relationships, coping skills, and communication. Families may seek counseling to address issues such as separation or divorce, parenting, marital relationships, illness or death, problems in school, addictions, eating disorders, infidelity, and conflict between family members. During family therapy, the therapist may meet with each member alone and then eventually together. They will assess different issues within the family such as healthy boundaries, creating stronger relationships, problem-solving abilities, and improving communication.

United Way of Wyoming Valley - Nurse's Pantry

Elementary students are introduced to The Nurse’s Pantry through school nurses, principals and guidance counselors. In addition to attire, The Nurse’s Pantry also provides hygiene items, appropriate footwear, outerwear, undergarments, and lice treatment kits. The United Way has created and facilitates The Nurse’s Pantry in 34 schools throughout the Wyoming Valley.
