North Philly Project - Male Involvement Group

Provides a safe space and a community for fathers raising children while doing the work of self-care and healing. Connects fathers to community resources and various supports needed to parent children in an ever-changing society. Holds monthly group meetings, alternating in-person and virtual gatherings.

Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County - Promoting Responsible Fatherhood

Services provided by the Initiative include: - A media campaign in cooperation with the National Fatherhood Initiative with the message that fathers involvement with their children is important - Case management for fathers and their families - Programming including: 1) "Foundations of Fatherhood", a 12-week educational support group that covers all areas of fathering, from self-image to anger management to spiritual leadership. Fathers are encouraged to share from experience as they identify with one another's problems and triumphs. 2) "Long Distance Dads", a class for incarcerated fathers, similar to "Foundations of Fatherhood." 3) "Five Love Languages", a video series on developing effective communication with partner and children. 4) Dads in Training (DIT): Promotes fatherhood responsibility to young fathers; provides case management and educational support groups. Tioga County Department of Human Services - Promoting Responsible Fatherhood (PRF)

Teaches fathers appropriate parenting skills to include non-physical modes of discipline; how to manage anger and resolve conflicts; how to use teamwork within the family to accomplish goals and how to resolve issues involving their work and their community. The PRF program uses a combination of resources including the Nurturing Father's Program.

Health Promotion Council of Southeastern Pennsylvania Inc - Focus on Fathers - Case Management

Provides case management services tailored to client's needs and goals. Holds meetings at locations convenient for the client. At first meeting, case managers work with clients to set goals they want to achieve with FOF's help. Case managers contact clients at least every other week and will meet in-person at least once a month for up to six months. Clients can choose to stop participating in the program at any time. Provides financial and relationship counseling through partner agencies.

ARIN Intermediate Unit 28 - ELECT Fatherhood Initiative

Offers anger management/conflict resolution, mentoring, parent education, and child development. Helps participants to earn a diploma or GED certificate and transition to employment or higher education.

Health Promotion Council of Southeastern Pennsylvania Inc - Focus on Fathers - Parenting Education Courses

Provides a 13-session parenting course for fathers at sites across Philadelphia and online, using the evidence-based 24/7 Dad curriculum. Topics include child development, managing feelings, positive communication, parental roles, positive discipline, co-parenting, custody and child support, managing conflict, men’s health, and the importance of employment. Provides refreshments and possibly transportation assistance. Offers gift cards and other incentives for attendance and course completion.

Susquehanna Valley United Way - 24:7 Dad Program

Offers a free, community-based course created to help fathers build the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to be present, connected, and engaged in their children’s lives. This 12-week course is designed for dads of all ages and life stages including those working through the reunification process. Whether you’re navigating first-time fatherhood or looking to strengthen your role, the program provides tools that make a difference. Fathers will earn a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
