The Pennsylvania National Guard's Resilience, Risk Reduction, & Suicide Prevention (R3SP) Program develops policy, conducts training and provides education on building resilience, mitigating stress and suicide prevention for the Service and Family members of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
The program consists of three sections:
- Suicide Prevention: The Suicide Prevention Program gives Soldiers the necessary skills to identify signs, symptoms, risk factors of suicide and the ability to successfully intervene. The program encourages Soldiers to be proactive in seeking assistance and strives to eliminate the stigma associated with behavioral health.
