The goal of Operation REACH (Relief for Emergency Assistance through Community Help) is to assist veterans who are struggling with substance abuse and/ or co-occurring mental health needs get the help that they need. This initiative will focus on the comprehensive needs of the veteran and delivering services through a holistic approach. Operation REACH will strive to provide intervention support services through a targeted case management model. Veterans and their families will benefit from targeted case management through assistance in coordination with basic necessities. Unlike many programs, characterization of discharge will not serve as eligibility criteria for Operation REACH. Services provided include, but may not be limited too: Mental Health Treatment Services Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Services

Provides routine hospice care in patient's homes. Provides a wide variety of services including: nursing visits, home health aides, social workers, spiritual counselors, pet therapy, aroma therapy, music therapy and massage therapy.

Provides therapuetic fishing events, environmental service projects, and educational events and retreats for caregivers. Events are hosted on an 18-acre refuge with a trout stream, fruit orchard, lodge home, activities center, pavillion, fishing docks, trails, rest areas, and fire pit.

Processes claims for and administers VA benefits, including: disability compensation, pension, home loan guaranty, life insurance, education, vocational training for disabled veterans, burial allowance, and survivor's compensation, pension, education and referrals to other service providers. Provides outreach to the veteran homeless community by helping homeless veterans with clothing, hygiene, food, and any other comforts they may need. Offers assistance to homeless veterans who have addictions and offer to get them into treatment if they desire. FSB can help get with shelter, employment, and other services. A homeless veteran qualifies for care through the VA even if it is not service connected. As long as they are under the care of a program, they will get the medical help they need.

Matches Veteran volunteers in one-to-one friendships with other Veterans who are in mental health recovery. Also, supports the free monthly Coffee and Comraderie Breakfast every 3rd Friday of the month.

Offers an 8 week program designed to help veterans (and their spouses) of any age and ability to improve their physical and mental well-being. Program includes: A) Small-group personal training B) Nutritional guidance C) Group walks, yoga, aerobics, and more.
