Offers many environmental education opportunities for youth and adults.The Watershed Specialist/Education Coordinator is available to give presentations to schools and the public on many conservation related topics and district programs. The District also provides displays at various functions, and has a wide array of videos and slide sets available to borrow. The Education and Public Relations Committee presents various awards to recognize individuals for their efforts in conservation.

Manages the Air Quality Program, oversees Water Supply Management, and ensures Water Quality and Management.

Provides no-cost education, opportunity, and other resources to get youth and families engaged in nature and outdoor experiences. We help people to understand and treat their outdoor environment better.

Offers programs for individuals and groups of all ages, including hikes, animal encounters, birthday parties, and summer camps. Features short but rugged trails, a bird observatory cabin, and nature museum.

Provides referrals to community health care providers for Pennsylvanians affected by the February 2023 train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

Offers environmental education programs to raise awareness and encourages stewardship of natural heritage.

Provides environmental STEM education through field trips, summer camps, classroom learning, peer mentoring, and leadership programs.

Protects forested ecosystems, supports rural communities through working forests, raises awareness of the importance of conserving intact forested ecosystems, and highlights sustainable forestry practices for the benefit of the land.

Makes environmental education resource kits available. Topics include:

The Conservation District can provide environmental programs for schools and meetings and assist with outdoor field days and events.
