Helps commuters identify transportation options for their daily commute using non-drive-alone modes, including carpooling, vanpooling, transit, walking, biking, and telecommuting. Connects commuters with carpool partners, transit route information, and other resources for their commute to work or higher education school.

Psychiatric and psychological assessments/outpatient services are available in Allentown or Bethlehem. Services available include family counseling and wrap around services. Serves children age 3-18, young adults to age 27 and their families. Fees may apply.

Provides investigation of reports of child abuse, neglect or abandonment; document substantiated cases; provide for the temporary placement of children who, for their own protection, have been removed from the custody of the adults who are responsible for their care; work with families who are experiencing a problem with child abuse with the objective of facilitating continued family unification or reunification; and provide ongoing supportive services for children in permanent placement.

Water and sewage services include permitting and inspection of individual water supplies and individual on-lot sewage systems, review of subdivision plans for sewage and water supply, and licensing for all well drilling contractors, pump installers and liquid waste haulers in the County.

Provides outpatient services for individual, family and group therapy. Medication management is available with a psychiatrist.

Services include job placement, follow-up after employment, and educational programs to assess employability.

Offers respite services to those caring for an adult with behavioral or mental health needs by providing temporary accommodations or in-home care for your loved one, with a qualified Access Services host family, capable of meeting all of his or her personal needs.

Provides a federally funded program which offers housing assistance as part of a coordinated program of housing, child care, and transportation assistance; personal and career counseling; educational assistance; and job training and placement for families with low to moderate incomes. Some of these services are outsourced to service providers in the community and all are not solely provided by the Housing Authority. The goal of the Family Self-Sufficiency Program is to help motivated individuals become economically self-sufficient. In order to qualify for the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, you must currently be a part of the Housing Authority of Northumberland County's public housing program or Rental Assistance Program.

Provides a food pantry for those in need. Assistance limited to once per week per household.

Services include a daily pantry (fresh produce, bread, prepared foods, and surplus pantry items), monthly food appointments (supplemental food and toiletries), food support to other agencies/providers, and specialized services (food for seniors and students, as well as 24/7 food bins throughout the community for after-hour service).
