Offers homeless prevention that assists those who have housing right now but who may become homeless soon because they lost income or had another eligible emergency that prevents them from paying rent. Assistance may include the following: Payment of rent arrears to prevent eviction; Utility shut-offs; Security deposits for housing; First month's rent for housing; Assistance covering the cost of housing applications; Pay for transportation to a confirmed location with support to avoid street homelessness; and Assistance with bedding and toiletry supplies if experiencing homelessness.

* Emergency Housing Assistance (EHA) will provide one month rent/security deposit to individuals who are in danger of eviction or homelessness. Individuals must meet eligibility and affordability guidelines and requirements and may receive assistance only one time. *Other Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing Services in the form of security/utility deposits, first month rent, rental arrears, or current month's rent are also available to individuals experiencing a hardship that are either "homeless" or at "risk of homelessness". Some income, eligibility, residency, and affordability guidelines and requirements exist and can vary by program.

Provides direct services to alleviate a military family's or individual's actual/complete emergency financial burden, as well as counseling and/or recovery support. Emergency financial assistance is in the form of checks paid directly to mortgage lenders, auto mechanics, contractors, hospitals, doctors, dentists and other providers. Other emergency funding assistance, which an applicant receives within 24 to 72 hours, includes the following: - Financial assistance - Emergency food - Emergency home repairs - Critical baby items: formula, food and diapers - Home and appliance repair - Furniture and household items - Local moving assistance - Community events - Wounded Warrior Transitional Family Housing .
