Provides financial assistance with utility bills, IDs, and bus passes; assistance limited to once per year. Utility Assistance requires ID, proof of household income, and hard paper copy of the utility bill. Water bills for renters will required a copy of current lease. Bus passes require proof of employment or medical appointment.

Connects community residents to transportation services within Mercer County. Offers customized motor vehicles that travel to communities to provide access to various preventative services, including COVID testing and vaccinations.

Also provides vouchers for clothing, household items, and furniture for use at Saint Vincent de Paul thrift stores. Sponsors a food pantry in Butler that serves over 500 families every month. Food bank members can expect to receive vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy products, and non-perishable items. In addition, more than 20 Society Conferences host food pantries and many others provide some form of food assistance.

Offers services that include housing assistance, mentoring, case management, referral services, food, clothing, educational support, employment assistance, photo identification cards, driver's licenses, and bus passes for employment.

Provides the following services: A Transfer Station, Express Services to Harrisburg (83N) and to Northern Maryland (83S), Fixed Routes, Transit Connections, Express Service connects via the 15N rabbitEXPRESS to Amtrak to Harrisburg Station, and a connection to the Harrisburg International Airport (HIA/MDT) via the Capital Area Transit (CAT) bus.

Assists with bus passes (while supply lasts) to seek out employment (4 passes) and once employment is gained (11 passes), one time every 90 days. Offers a men's clothing closet. Provides community breakfast once a month.

Provides short-term emergency food (local pantries should be called first), personal care/grooming supplies, and single-use Port Authority bus tickets (for verified job interviews or medical appointments, or occasional other emergency situations). Four downtown churches alternate weekly as the church "on duty" for serving persons in need. Please see details in the Intake Procedure and Helpful Hints sections below.

Provides bus passes for newly employed until client receives first paycheck. In special circumstances, an all day day pass may be provided in the case of an illness to get to a medical appointment.

Provides rapid monetary assistance to transgender/gender-expansive individuals or the parents of transgender youth under the age of 18 residing with the parent. Includes one-time rent assistance, food assistance, mutual aid for utilities, car repair, trans-affirming medication, and bus passes. All payments are made directly to the vendor. Application does not guarantee approval.
