Provides information about driver's licenses and vehicle registration for active military and veterans. Available information includes how to obtain a military license plate, Armed Forces Personnel vehicle registration and driver's license information, procedures for importing/exporting vehicles, military commercial driver's license (CDL) skills testing waiver, secure power of attorney (MV-POA) and general power of attorney information, obtaining veteran registration plates and information.
Intent of this program is to bridge an unusual financial crisis that disrupts employment due to lack of transportation. IHS supports vehicle repair costs from an automotive garage and/or itemized cost of parts for the do-it-yourselfer. If approved, IHS payments will be made to the repair garage or the parts shop.
