Bingo, dog, hunting, fishing and small game of chance licenses can be obtained at the Licensing office.

Provides the service of licensing. Some of the licenses that are sold includes dog licenses, fishing licenses, boat launch licenses, hunting and fur taking licenses, bingo licenses, small games of chance licenses.

Collects real estate taxes, fees and receipts, and disburses all funds after authorization by the Commissioners. This department also issues licenses for hunting, fishing, dogs, and pistol permits only when used in conjunction with hunting and fishing. This office also issues licenses for small games of chance and bingo.

Serves as the the custodian of county funds. Responsible for the collection, processing, and investment of General Fund tax money. Sells hunting, fishing, and doe licenses as well as licenses for Bingo and Small Games of Chance.

Serves as the repository for all monies remitted from the various county departments, with all funds kept separate and fully accounted for on a department by department basis. The Treasurer’s Office is also responsible for issuing Dog Licenses, Hunting, Sportsman Permits and Fishing Licenses as well as Small Games of Chance and Bingo Licenses. The Treasurer’s Office is also in charge of collecting the hotel tax in Lycoming County.

Provides licensing services for recreational settings in Armstrong County.

Issues payrolls and checks. Collecting county taxes, receiving money for the state and federal grants, and issuing licenses are the major responsibilities. Licenses issued by the office include dog, fishing, hunting, fur trapping, and bingo.

Responsible for all county monies, and physically handles all income and disbursements. Services include investment of county funds, agent for Commonwealth selling dog, hunting, fishing and sportsmen pistol permits. Provides small games of chance and bingo licenses. Acts as Tax claim bureau for the county. Collects deliquent real estate taxes.

Department is the Tax Collector of County real estates taxes. Office also issues licenses for dogs, small games of chance, Bingo, sportsmen's pistols, hunting, and fishing.

Tax Claim - Administers collection of all delinquent real estate taxes owed to County and local taxing authorities. Set up payment plans for qualified individuals. Accepts and applies payment. Disburse monies collected to appropriate taxing districts. Receives and releases all payments made on behalf of the County. Treasurer - Prints and distributes all bills for county and municipal real estate taxes. Annually issues license and permits for hunting (including Anterless Deer), fishing, dog, and motorboats. Issues licenses for Bingo and Small Games of Chance.

Provides general information regarding the following: Marriage Licenses, Recording of Deeds, Register of Wills, Voter Registration and Elections, Waste, Tax Assessments, Dog License, Passports, Prothonotary, Clerk of Courts, Probation, Court, District Attorney.

Collects all monies due to the county and invests such funds. Also responsible for distribution of payroll and disbursement checks; the payment of juror and witness vouchers; collection of hotel and motel rental taxes; and the issuing of all licenses with regards to dogs, fishing, and hunting.

Receives and deposit all monies due and payable to the County of York. Offers hunting, fishing, bingo, small games of chance, and dog licenses. Collects the County Hotel Excise Tax.

Provides boating safety and aquatic resources education, fisheries management, and fishing licensing for the State of Pennsylvania

The primary function of this office is the receipt of real estate taxes. These monies are invested until they are properly disbursed. The Treasurer is also responsible for the sale of dog, fishing, hunting, bingo and small games of chance licenses and permits. Also responsible for investing county receipts in short term investments until needed for public expenditures or otherwise properly disbursed. This office is NOT connected with the Lancaster County Tax Collection Bureau which collects the school and municipal 1% wage tax.
