Provides homebuyer and homeowner counseling and education, including foreclosure prevention services. All services are available virtually.
Clarifi works with struggling homeowners in all stages from those who are current but facing potential future delinquency to those whose homes are scheduled for sheriff's sale.
Offers pre-purchase counseling sessions to assist prospective buyers to understand the mortgage process; foreclosure prevention counseling helps current homeowners to avoid foreclosure when possible. Also provides information about reverse mortgages in special sessions.
Remote sessions take about 90 minutes to complete while the traditional face-to-face sessions can take over 2-3 hours. Counselors are certified by PHFA and NeighborWorks. Participants needs to have a Smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer and a device that has a web camera so that the counselor can clearly see you during the session.
