Provides assistance with senior benefit programs, Medicare & Supplementary programs, eligibility for low-income senior programs including home and community services, along with: home-delivered meals, prescription drug programs, health & Wellness programs, person-centered counseling, case management, senior activities, support groups and volunteering opportunities.

The Independent Monitoring for Quality (IM4Q) interviews individuals enrolled in BHDS programs to learn about the overall quality of life for people who receive support through the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) in Pennsylvania. The key objective of IM4Q is to collect and provide information that might help improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.

Provides advocacy services for individuals with disabilities. Provides legal services in cases of disability employment discrimination, special education, and disability rights.

Champions a life of inclusion, opportunity, and equity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through advocacy, education, and support.

Assists parents or caregivers of children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders. Helps parents find services and advocates on behalf of those with any of the public systems (i.e., mental health system, education, state/local child-servicing agencies) that serve children.

Works to ensure that people with disabilities have the same rights, opportunities, and privileges as people without disabilities. Offers training, resources, education, and assistance for families of people with intellectual disabilities through adult advocacy, systems advocacy, education advocacy, and outreach.

Offers information, referral, advocacy, and support services to individuals of any age who have a developmental disability. Services are provided by a nurse via home visits, phone, email, and virtual support..
