Offers a Christian based preschool designed to prepare each child for future schooling and also to expand each child's knowledge of God and his love for all of us. Children are taught through lessons and guided conversations in areas such as literacy, print concepts, letter and number recognition, counting, colors, shapes, patterning, sequencing, fine and gross motor skills and much more.
Provides a comprehensive child development program that promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to enrolled children and families. Head Start engages parents in their children's learning and helps parents in making progress toward their educational, literacy and employment goals. Head start offers both full day or part day center based options. Early head start offers both home based or center based options year round.

Offers a free preschool program for children ages 3 to 5 for income eligible families. Child and family services include: free meals for children, parent workshops, health and developmental screenings, help for children with challenging behaviors, home visits and parent teacher conferences, and family support services.
Provides a learning atmosphere where children can grow spiritually, socially, physically, intellectually, and emotionally. Additionally, a toddler gym is available Wednesday mornings.

Pre-K Counts is a pre-kindergarten program that helps prepare children for full-day kindergarten. The district is now accepting registrations for children who will be 3 years of age prior to September 1, 2020, for our Pre-K Counts program for the 2020-2021 school year. Income guidelines listed below must be met to qualify for this program. Please call the elementary office at 570-547-1608, ext. 1127, and leave a message stating you would like to register your child for pre-k for the 2020-2021 school year. Please include your name, address and phone number and the secretary will call you back. If you did not register your child who will turn 4 prior to September 1, 2020, for the district’s Pre-K Counts preschool program when registration was held in early March, please call the elementary office and leave a message as referenced above.
