Lakeside - Mobile Support

Mainstay is a mobile program with qualified educators and counselors that provides social work services to school districts and students with specific needs who require additional support to better function within their schools, homes and communities. Mainstay provides individualized academic and therapeutic support services on a mobile basis to school age children,consisting of a phased process of interventions, addressing needs such as truancy, drop out prevention, emotional and behavioral difficulties, placement prevention, transition from placement and parent consultation and support. Services are for high school students and also any adults in the community at large interested in such things as reading help, tutoring or GED instruction.

Chester County Intermediate Unit 24 - Chester County Intermediate Unit 24 - Homeless Children's Initative

Helps homeless children and youth access Pennsylvania's public schools by removing barriers to a free and appropriate public education. The goal of the program is to have a child's education continue as uninterrupted as possible while he or she is homeless. The program also provides school supplies, transportation arrangements to and from school, and resources to the families of homeless children.
