Services include communicable disease reporting and investigation; epidemiology, informational and referral; chronic disease prevention and intervention; clinical services (including sexually-transmitted disease and tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment, immunization, and HIV testing, counseling and education); family health programs and environmental health services (including animal bites and rabies information).

STD/HIV services include testing and treatment of chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis, as well as testing and referral services for HIV. Partner notification of possible exposure to STDs and HIV is available and serves to increase testing and treatment to reduce the spread of disease.

Provides specialized care for adults age 18 and older with infections caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. Services include diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases, antibiotic therapy, HIV-related care, and consultative services for hospitalized patients with follow-up care as needed.

Our Shout Outreach program is a prevention and recovery support program for those at risk of HIV and/or Hepatitis C in Erie County, PA. Shout/Outreach provides confidential HIV testing free of charge and works to educate community members on topics that include STDs and communicable diseases, safety and prevention, and emotional skill building.
