The mission of YWCA York's Fitness and Aquatic departments is to improve the quality of life for people of all ages through physical fitness and health education. Young people learn the value of teamwork and the importance of safety while developing skills that will last a lifetime. YWCA York offers over 40 health, wellness and educational programs for all members of the family. Facilities include a pool, yoga and wellness studio, and free parking. Provides nutrition counseling and education from Registered Dietitians (RDs) and Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionists (LDNs), who draw on their experience to develop individualized plans that translate nutritional science into practical guidance for healthy living for individuals of all ages. Supports healthy weight management, improved eating habits, and reduced risk of chronic illness. Creates a specialized nutrition plan to help individuals better manage conditions such as diabetes and pre-diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease, cancer, celiac disease, eating disorders, food allergies, pregnancy (including gestational diabetes), child and adolescent nutrition, and vegetarian diets.

Women's Health Services meet the complete spectrum of women's health and include traditional medical and surgical approaches. The latest advances in gynecologic care is offered, covering everything from routine attention to minimally invasive and robotic surgeries to gynecologic-oncology. The obstetric program encompasses Maternal Fetal Medicine as well as Reproductive Endocrinology. The program includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) available for newborns that need specialized care and a robust inpatient pediatric program to care for children up to age 18.
