Focuses on health promotion and disease prevention activities for older Pennsylvanians. Promotes optimum health and well being with a special focus on exercise, nutrition, chronic conditions, incontinence, mental health, injury prevention, medication management and alcoholism.

Offers an 8 week program designed to help veterans (and their spouses) of any age and ability to improve their physical and mental well-being. Provides a Heart health program, ran by in-house RN, aims to help increase physical health and well-being through practical exercise, nutrition and lifestyle management support. Under the guidance of the nurse and a team of trainers, this program includes regular physical activity sessions tailored to your needs and fitness level.

Assists people reduce their risk for developing type 2 diabetes. A small-group program helps people with prediabetes eat healthier, increase their physical activity, and lose weight, which can delay or even prevent the onset of type 2 diabetes.

Provides disease prevention and health promotion services at senior centers or other community sites. Priority areas are: health risk screening; nutrition; chronic disease self-management; fall risk; exercise and strengthening to prevent fall-related injury; behavioral health and medication management.

Offers a community resource for families as well as a variety of services including assistance with mental health, disability, and substance use disorder issues. Services include group programs as well as individual counseling to address issues of mental health.

Wellness Center offers community health education programs including nutrition and weight management, diabetes, CPR and first aid, tobacco cessation, senior exercise programs, and community health outreach.
