Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight, PA MEDI is a federally funded program administered through Area Agency on Aging and is designed specifically to help Pennsylvanian's on Medicare. Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight, PA MEDI counselors answer questions about Medicare benefits and provide easy to understand information. Counselors are available to review and answer questions related to Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Supplement Plans, Medicaid, Medicare Appeals, financial assistance, and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight, PA MEDI is a free unbiased resource for anyone who is Medicare eligible. One-on-one counseling sessions are held by certified volunteers committed to assisting beneficiaries with any Medicare questions or concerns. PA MEDI volunteers are also available for Medicare presentations and information sessions.

PA MEDI Counselors are specially trained to answer your questions and provide you with objective, easy-to-understand information about Medicare, Medicare Supplemental Insurance, and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. PA MEDI counselors work individually and confidentially with beneficiaries to determine their health care needs and preferences, compare health insurance options, and help obtain Medicare and supplemental coverage that fits their lifestyle and their budget. PA MEDI Counselors do not sell Medicare products but rather offer current, unbiased Medicare Education to help you make the most informed choice about the Medicare options available to you.

Cedarview Apartment complex is 200 one-bedroom apartments for low to moderate-income residents, 62 years of age or older, as well as income qualified persons younger than 62 who are on disability. All applicants must be self-sufficient as Cedarview does not provide medical or personal care services. Two year waiting list for those over 62 and five year waiting list for those under 62. PA MEDI (Medicare/Medicaid Assistance) available the second Wednesday from 11am-1pm.
Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight - PA MEDI- is a free health insurance counseling program designed to help all Pennsylvanians with Medicare. PA MEDI counselors are specially trained staff and volunteers who can answer your questions and provide you with objective, easy to understand information about Medicare.
Provides such services as: application for retirement benefits, SSI and disability benefits, survivors' benefits, and Medicare. Assists with checking application or appeal status, replacing Medicare card, obtaining SSA forms, and a new or replacement Social Security card.
