Offers programs that connect clients and their families to supportive services. Provides support that is as individualized as possible and addresses each person's needs, within their local community.

Provides prescription vouchers, redeemable at the Rite Aid on Gay Street. Maximum allowance is $50.00 per client. Offer limited to once every six months. Note: Unable to pay for prescriptions written for narcotics/controlled substances.

Coordinates and administers services to help clients make decisions and choices about their own care, enabling them to be active in their communities.

Provides direct financial assistance to insured patients who meet certain qualifications to help them pay for the prescriptions and/or treatments they need. This assistance helps patients afford the out-of-pocket costs for these items that their insurance companies require.

Assists with rent, utility bills, clothing, or medical bills. This assistance may include emergency service delivery and/or referrals/consultations to other agencies or organizations with the means to solve the problem. No funds are given to individuals - instead, all payments are made directly to landlords and other vendors.

Provides Medicare counseling and health insurance reviews through group meetings, one-on-one appointments and/or community events. PA MEDI offers information to seniors about Medicare plans (including Parts A, B and D), Medicare savings plans, supplemental insurances, and PACE program (Prescription Assistance for low income seniors).

The SingleCare Prescription Savings Card program is a free resource for immediate savings on prescription medications.

Provides a one time only assistance focusing on the following needs: energy assistance, housing and medical assistance. People needing help may call or submit a written application to the organization. All requests are evaluated in confidentiality. The organization also attempts to put applicants in contact with additional organizations that can assist them.

Offers emergency assistance for the following: A) Utilities (must have shut off notice), B) Rent (must have eviction notice), C) Emergency food, D) Lodging (hotel voucher) with Red Cross referral, E) Burial (limited availability), F) Prescription medications, G) Clothing and household items through free warehouse shopping. Also provides assistance with Dollar Energy applications. Undesignated assistance may be used for household disaster relief when funds are available. Does NOT help with security deposit assistance or other fees such as late fees etc.

The mission of York Cancer Center is to provide excellent clinical care and comprehensive support services to cancer patients. Radiation therapy, medical oncology, surgical services, and outpatient infusion services, as well as oncology social workers, oncology dietitians, nurse educators, nurse navigators and a financial counselor are available at this facility. Also provides mammograms. Outpatient program for cancer patients - provides cancer information, education, and support by registered nurses, social workers, dietitians, and financial counselor. Offers prescription assistance programs, PACE (Pharmaceutical Assistance Contract for the Elderly) and PACENET, for Pennsylvania residents age 65 or older with limited income. Provides information regarding the numerous plans covered by Medicare and assists with enrollment.

Offers limited financial assistance for prescriptions, gasoline, utility shut offs, and sometimes rent.

Also helps qualifying low-income individuals and families with rental assistance, goal setting and budgeting. Provides bus passes for interviews or for first week of employment. Toiletries/personal grooming items provided as available. * Various rental assistance programs * Homeless Supportive Services: Provides intensive case management and referrals to other support services for single, adult, chronically homeless individuals. Assist street homeless men and women to connect to community resources as they strive to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency. * Social Security Representative Payee Program: Provides financial monitoring and fund administration to individuals receiving social security who are unable to manage their own finances.
