Funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Healthy Beginnings Plus is a program for pregnant women who are income eligible. During pregnancy income eligibility increases to 185% above Federal Poverty Guidelines. Services provided by the program include:

• medical care provided by a doctor or nurse midwife
• pre-natal education by a nurse educator
• assistance of a special counselor
• nutrition instruction
• childbirth education
• parenting and baby tips classes
• breastfeeding classes
• smoking cessation programs
• access to dental care through affiliation with Welsh Mountain Dental Clinic

Provides screening and testing for multiple sexually transmitted infections and diseases, pregnancy testing, pregnancy verification, options counseling, sexual health education, parenting classes, birth control information, post-abortive recovery, and more.

Provides an array of pregnancy services, including pregnancy tests, limited obstetric ultrasounds, and abortion recovery support. Also provides education on pregnancy, fetal development, abortion and alternatives, parenting and abstinence; referrals to financial aid, medical care, social services and adoption; maternity and baby clothing, supplies, and baby formula.
