Funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Healthy Beginnings Plus is a program for pregnant women who are income eligible. During pregnancy income eligibility increases to 185% above Federal Poverty Guidelines. ACHIP is a Lehigh Valley Children's Hospital home visiting program for pregnant women and families with children (birth to age 5) who live in the downtown Allentown area. ACHIP promotes health and well-being, addresses health needs and connects families with the community resources they need.

Provides an array of pregnancy services, including pregnancy tests, limited obstetric ultrasounds, and abortion recovery support. Also provides education on pregnancy, fetal development, abortion and alternatives, parenting and abstinence; referrals to financial aid, medical care, social services and adoption; maternity and baby clothing, supplies, and baby formula.
