Designed to serve the needs of low-income or financially-challenged women by helping them have a positive pregnancy experience. Care coordinators assist women with the required paperwork to receive supplemental or free services. Programming ensures that the expectant mother will receive necessary obstetric services that might have otherwise not been availabel due to lack of insurance.

WIC provides low-income pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children under age 5 who are nutritionally at-risk with nutritious foods, nutrition and health education, breastfeeding promotion and a referral system for health and social services.

A program for women who are having their first baby. When enrolled the program pairs the women with a specially trained nurse who will visit with them throughout their pregnancy and as they parent until the child turns two years old. Nurse home visiting program for pregnant women, new mothers, new fathers and their babies. A public health nurse will visit the family in the home, help with health care needs and discuss how mom, dad and/or other caregivers and baby are doing. Nurses will assist parents and children with a variety of needs including, but not limited to: infant Care/parenting Tips, breastfeeding tips, home safety tips, smoking cessation, family planning, immunizations, lead testing, and education and guidance in health related areas

Helps pregnant women and new mothers addicted to drugs, alcohol and/or tobacco. Provides intensive case management through prenatal or postpartum home visits, follow-ups, and substance abuse treatment referrals. Offers drug and alcohol education, and smoking cessation.

Provides complete prenatal care including in-office ultrasound and laboratory services. Collaboration with high risk obstetrical providers when needed for consultation.

Offers prenatal and postpartum home visits to help with questions or concerns about pregnancy and the baby, social gatherings such as picnics, play and support groups, and information on care, development, health and safety for the child.

Provides prenatal and early childhood nurse home visitation for first-time mothers during pregnancy and until the child is two years old. Provides health assessments, child development assessments, nutrition education, parenting education, breastfeeding education, health and safety information, Family support planning, and referrals to other community resources and services.

Uses a unique peer support model that uses shared language, cultural expertise, advocacy, lived experiences, and system navigation knowledge to help individuals and families overcome social determinants and improve their health outcomes. Registered Nurses provide home visits to high risk pregnant women and/or parenting families, provide prevention education related to such topics as growth, development, nutrition and safety, perform screening related to post-partum depression, child development and child growth, visit families of children with such metabolic disorders as PKU or Maple Sugar Urine Disease, visit families of children with with cleft lip and/or palate and provide referrals and support for families that have experienced the loss of an infant ruled as Sudden Unexplained Infant Death (SUIDS).

Mother-Baby Program: 24-hour residential care and treatment program offers young mothers the opportunity to learn how to care for their child in a responsible manner, while in an environment that promotes the welfare and development of both mother and child. Aftercare services are available to previous residents for at least a year after discharge. (Outreach services are also offered to single mothers who were not previously in the Mother-Baby residential program.) Maternity Program: 24-hour residential care for single pregnant females offering case management, health care and education; personal living skills training; social development and adjustment. Services are also available to each girl's family and to the expectant father. Maternity Care: Includes maternal and child (unborn) health education; monitoring of healthcare and follow-through of prenatal and general health care needs.
