Provides mobile mental health care by dispatching behavioral health professionals to assist individuals in crisis at home, work, or in the community. Offers evaluation, intervention, and treatment planning for psychiatric crises; support for individuals experiencing or coping with suicidal behavior; assistance for those impacted by traumatic events; and crisis intervention related to substance misuse. Ensures follow-up to connect individuals with physical and behavioral health services and community resources.

Providing Mobile Crisis Response and Stabilization Services. The goal of MCRSS is to prevent inpatient care, reduce juvenile justice placement, and address social determinants of health. These goals are addressed through crisis calls, mobile crisis intervention, and stabilization services. MCRSS helps provide stability to youth and their families.

The mobile unit staff specializes in providing care to low-income and at-risk populations.

Some examples of health problems treated are: medicine refills, cold symptoms, sore muscles and joints, a new or long-term wound, flu shots, blood pressure checks, diabetes education, trouble with teir feet

A prescription voucher program is also available to individuals experiencing homelessness who have no medical assistance for covering prescription costs. Additional specialty services, outreach services, and substance abuse services are available to individuals experiencing homelessness each month.
