Prevention of blindness programs including free vision screenings for children 12 months to 6 years of age. Transportation: This free door-to-door service provides rides to essential medical appointment or critical service need, such as obtaining a photo ID or grocery shopping. Individuals must live in Allegheny County and meet the program criteria. Appointments requested to be made in advance.

Provides Low Vision Services by an optometrist specially trained in low vision technologies for people whose vision cannot be restored with a prescribed correction. After an evaluation, the optometrist may recommend specialized vision aids which enable clients to use their remaining sight more comfortably and efficiently.
Provides primary medical care, preventive care to include cancer screenings, case management services, chiropractic services, physical therapy, pharmacology program for medication management, and outpatient laboratory services. Family planning counseling and free contraceptives. Annual eye insurance offering free eye exam and discounted eyeglasses. Also offers many other services offsite at specialty providers' private offices including but not limited to eye care, orthopedics,, urology, dermatology, surgical referrals, pain management, cardiology and gastroenteritis.
