The program includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) available for newborns that need specialized care and a robust inpatient pediatric program to care for children up to age 18. Operates an outpatient primary medical care clinic for Veterans through the Lebanon VA. Offers primary care and annual physicals by appointment, preventive services, women's health services, routine lab work, EKGs, immunizations, medication review, tele-mental health and social work services, treatment of conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory disease, common cold, influenza, tobacco cessation and specialty referrals. Telehealth: As a convenience to our patients, some services are offered by electronic means. Individual or group appointments may be performed via video to the Lebanon VAMC or other medical facility. Also, various tests can now be performed at any one of the six outpatient clinics, with the analysis being performed at the Lebanon VAMC or other medical facility. Perimenopausal, Menopausal, and Post-Menopausal Care: Provides comprehensive care and support to women entering and in their peri-menopausal through post-menopausal years. Provides routine exams, and care to relieve symptoms and treat conditions related to perimenopause through post-menopause, in order to help clients understand what they are experiencing, take preventive health care measures including a range of therapies and options, and make healthy lifestyle choices.

Provides complete prenatal care including in-office ultrasound and laboratory services. Collaboration with high risk obstetrical providers when needed for consultation.

A physician or nurse practitioner will conduct the medical examination. They will check for any problems, including signs of STDs. If you are a woman, they will also do a Pap Smear to test for abnormal cells that can lead to cancer.

Genetic testing is done to detect possible genetic defects that place family members at a far higher risk for developing either breast or ovarian cancer, or both. Both men and women can have this defect and can pass it on down to their children. As part of the process, there is a discussion on all the options available to the patient if she decides to have the test and it comes back positive. Blood is drawn and results are typically back in four to six weeks.
