Prepares adult job seekers for full time employment through an intensive multi-day Workshop. Assists course graduates with resume' preparation, interview skill building, job searching, overcoming barriers to employment, financial planning, maintaining and developing job skills, and reaching goals for job advancement. Pottstown Works also offers on-going mentoring, technical resource (access to computers, printers one-on one assistance) for all graduates. A similar program is provided in collaboration with the Pottstown School District to help guide high school students through the process of finding a job.

Offers a four-year, year-round, educational and workforce development program for students in the 11th grade interested in information technology careers. Services include educational experiences, academic support, social-emotional skills training, instruction in software design, paid work experiences, and job placement assistance. Awards college credit to participants through partnership with Arizona State University.

• Workshops and information sessions are available to the public. Can be found on the events calendar.
• Comprehensive Career Services - One-on-one with an employment planner. For adults 18 years and up. Must meet federal eligibility requirements.
• Work one-on-one with an employment planner to develop an employment plan and outline the path to their next job. For adults 18 years and up. Must meet federal eligibility requirements.
• Job Search/Job Club - Individuals can sign up for Comprehensive Career Services. Work one-on-one with an employment planner to develop an employment plan. For adults 18 years and up. Must meet federal eligibility requirements.
• Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) serves young adults 17-24 years old who are currently enrolled in school in Berks County. Must meet federal eligibility requirements.

Hosts free/accessible computer lab hours. Provides assistance with resume writing, online job searching, email set up, and completing applications, forms, and documents.

Assists with job readiness by providing help with resume writing, job applications, and interview workshops. Partners with local businesses to help find job placements in the community.
