Designed to match essential job skills with employee knowledge and ability, the WIN and WorkKeys assessments work together to provide both job seekers and employers with valuable training and information. Clients work through practice tests prior to taking the standardized WorkKeys exam within a controlled environment. If scores demonstrate weakness in a particular subject area, remediation modules and instructor assistance are available.

Employability Initiative is similar to “boot camp training” for those striving to succeed in a career. Multiple weeks of intense soft-skill training before students transition into employment with one of our partner organizations. The program helps reduce recruitment costs and turnover expenses incurred by organizations who hire via other traditional methods.

Offers on-the-job training, referrals for additional classroom training (if appropriate), and referrals to employers in the community who are seekng the skills you have or will acquire in the program. It can also offer assessment, testing and counseling if desired or needed. Training will be customized to meet your individual needs.

A satellite location of PA CareerLink Lehigh Valley. It provides an array of employment and training services in a convenient, easily accessible location. Services include job counseling, resume preparation assistance, interview training and other prejob guidance services; job matching and referral; job registration; labor market and career information; information on financial aid for education and training; and referral for job training, transportation, child care, personal and financial counseling, health care and other human services resources in the community.

Provides basic case management services, and rental assistance to adults and families in York County who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk for eviction (NOTE: Referrals to rental assistance are limited as funds are limited). Offers community resource assistance and other services to help prevent homelessness.

Offers a number of scholarships annually to students who are interested in post-secondary training to prepare for a career in the tool, die and manufacturing industry. Promotes workforce development through K to 12th grade programming.
