Provides information, interview techniques, resume-writing, and assistance with job search skills to low-income, unemployed of underemployed Bucks County residents.

Offers individual sessions to assist clients to identify career options, help them enroll in post-secondary schools, and apply for financial aid.

Offers support and resources based on individual needs. Provides basic life essentials (vital documents, showers, clothes, and food); housing support; employment assistance (job search help, resume assistance, job readiness training, and entrepreneur support); educational support; motivational education, coaching, and life skills training; restorative practices; creative and recreational age-specific programs; community and a safe space.

Offers a program for youth ages 12 to 17, providing life skills training, trauma-informed care, financial literacy training, and workforce development. Youth enrolled in the program are required to be present at NOMO North Monday through Thursday, 3:00pm to 7:00pm.

Provide vocational assessment, job development, job training, job placement, specialized job situations and/or other support services that help people with intellectual disabilities prepare for, find and retain paid employment.

Provides basic case management services, and rental assistance to adults and families in York County who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk for eviction (NOTE: Referrals to rental assistance are limited as funds are limited). Offers community resource assistance and other services to help prevent homelessness.

Offers programs of classes in culinary arts, fashion design/branding, cosmetology, makeup and skincare, financial literacy, resume writing, music, and introduction to barbering. Provides job readiness coaching, peer mentoring, and group therapy sessions. Also provides case management and support services including emergency temporary housing; assistance with utility, rent, and phone bill payments; transportation; nutrition services; work attire; hygiene support; medical support; and more.

Provides academic brush up for those entering employment or entering the classroom trainings in order to prepare for employment. Geared toward improving individuals areas of need.

Provides a wide range of workforce development services. Services include one-on-one career coaching, workforce webinar series, 10-week professional development / workforce readiness seminars, job fairs, and highering events. Assists with finding job training and certification programs, resume writing, interview preparation, workplace etiquette, job referrals, and more.

Assists in the successful transitions between high school and college and/or work by helping students gain the skills, knowledge, and expertise needed for their postsecondary success.

Offers services to youth that face a significant barrier to completing or advancing in education or obtaining employment. Programs offered include case management, academic tutoring and study skills training, job and workplace readiness workshops, occupational skills training, paid and unpaid work experiences, GED preparation classes, job shadowing, career fairs, leadership development, mock interviewing and resume help, and entrepreneurial skills training.

Provide intensive case management, education, training, work activities, job placement and retention services, and supportive services to move rapidly from dependence to independence through employment.

Offers a variety of free career development services including job finding assistance, workshops, training programs, and career exploration resources. Offers in-person and virtual assistance.

Offers a soup kitchen with daily lunch and weekday breakfasts in a sit-down dining room, day shelter (cots, computers, phones, e-charging stations, and tables are available), and client assistance (clothing and personal items/essentials and counseling/case management). Also provides showers and mail services.

Offers programs that provide career and job guidance, financial and employment counseling, and helps participants with skills in financial literacy, resume writing, job-seeking, health and wellness tips, family law, civic engagement, and education options.

Employability Initiative is similar to “boot camp training” for those striving to succeed in a career. Multiple weeks of intense soft-skill training before students transition into employment with one of our partner organizations. The program helps reduce recruitment costs and turnover expenses incurred by organizations who hire via other traditional methods.

Offers culturally relevant workshops, life skills education, support groups, and more focused on areas such as managing stress, entrepreneurship, healing from trauma, conflict resolution, career readiness, healthy relationships, and current events.

Provides services that include: A) Job Readiness (resume writing, Interviewing skills, etc.) B) GED Prep and Testing C) Job Training in High Priority D) Occupations (EX: HVAC, Electrical, CNA, Plumbing, Machine Operator, etc.) E) Supportive Services such as: Books, tools, boots, and uniforms provided for work and school, ID/Licenses, etc.

Prepares adult job seekers for full time employment through an intensive multi-day Workshop. Assists course graduates with resume' preparation, interview skill building, job searching, overcoming barriers to employment, financial planning, maintaining and developing job skills, and reaching goals for job advancement. Pottstown Works also offers on-going mentoring, technical resource (access to computers, printers one-on one assistance) for all graduates. A similar program is provided in collaboration with the Pottstown School District to help guide high school students through the process of finding a job.

Offers scheduled, topic-specific works (advanced registration required) and flexible workshops that can be requested on a variety of topics. Workshop topics include: The SHINE Series: 1. Acing an Interview 2. Resume Blueprint 3. Threads of Independence- Creating a Sustainable Wardrobe

A one-stop job center that provides an array of employment and training services in a convenient, easily accessible location. Services include job counseling, testing and assessment; resume preparation assistance, interview training and other prejob guidance services; job matching and referral; unemployment insurance and job registration; labor market and career information; information on financial aid for education and training; and referral for job training, transportation, child care, personal and financial counseling, health care and other human services resources in the community.

Provides a full range of employment services to assist veterans in their search for work. Specially trained veteran employment representatives located in PA CareerLink® offices provide veterans with a full range of employment services, including referral services, job development, referral to training, and referral to government and community veteran service agencies. These representatives help veterans match their job skills to employer job openings and contact employers on behalf of the veteran for consideration in hiring. PA CareerLink® offices comply with the Jobs for Veterans Act by providing priority services to veterans. Local Veterans Employment Representatives and/or Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialists are available at PA CareerLink® offices to assist veterans with job search and other employment needs. Job seekers identified as veterans are matched to job orders, before any other job seeker matches are performed.

Offers a variety of free career development services including job finding assistance, workshops, training programs, and career exploration resources. Offers in-person and virtual assistance.

Provides eligible individuals with career counseling, pre-vocational preparation, basic skills improvement, on-the-job training, occupational skills training and job search assistance.

Provides two weeks of life skills and job readiness training, mentoring (continues post-program), trauma-informed group counseling, and job finding assistance. Participants receive a $15.00 per hour stipend and a daily complimentary meal.
