Offers free GED instruction and job services for Bucks County youth and young adults ages 16 to 24. Covers cost of all GED materials and test fees. Job services include assistance with resume writing, interview prep, and job placement. Also provides job training for metalworking, industrial maintenance, bookkeeping, Microsoft Office technology and customer service specialist, pharmacy technician, medical assistant, and dental assistant. Also offers computer training and certifications, and more.

Provides employment services to assist veterans in their search for work. Specially trained veteran employment representatives located in PA CareerLink offices provide veterans with a full range of employment services, including referral services, job development, referral to training, and referral to government and community veteran service agencies. These representatives help veterans match their job skills to employer job openings and contact employers on behalf of the veteran for consideration in hiring.

Supports empowerment and leadership development of queer youth of color through individual coaching, group support, and community engagement. Coaching addresses sexual health, education, homework assistance, job readiness, employment, conflict resolution, and trauma. Offers group activities that allow queer youth to strengthen their social support system and facilitate dialogue about how they can make an impact on their community through organizing.

Serves as a one-stop career center providing local job seekers with resources and personalized attention needed to find their next career opportunity. Services include vocational assessment, resume preparation, job finding assistance, hosting job fairs, and free use of space and equipment (computers, fax machine, telephone, etc.) for employment-related purposes.

Preparing for Independence is a comprehensive employment and vocational counseling program open to those needing employment or to improve their lives through better job benefits or greater income. Prepares adult job seekers for full time employment through an intensive multi-day Workshop. Assists course graduates with resume' preparation, interview skill building, job searching, overcoming barriers to employment, financial planning, maintaining and developing job skills, and reaching goals for job advancement. Pottstown Works also offers on-going mentoring, technical resource (access to computers, printers one-on one assistance) for all graduates. A similar program is provided in collaboration with the Pottstown School District to help guide high school students through the process of finding a job.

Offers a workforce development program that provides opportunity to obtain technical training. Coaches guide participants through the process to ensure goals are achieved and barriers are reduced. Participants take technical classes at Johnson College to obtain industry-specific credentials. In addition to classes, participants take part in employee readiness workshops that relate to workplace knowledge, professionalism, and long-term success. After program completion, participants will have earned professional certification in a high-priority occupation and find gainful employment.

Provides job readiness and job placement support enabling refugees and immigrants to secure their first jobs in the United States. Services include employment assessment, resume and cover letter preparation, individualized support and advocacy, interview skills training, job search training, job placement, post-placement retention assistance, and job upgrade advice and assistance
