Specially trained veteran employment representatives located in PA CareerLink® offices provide veterans with a full range of employment services, including referral services, job development, referral to training, and referral to government and community veteran service agencies. These representatives help veterans match their job skills to employer job openings and contact employers on behalf of the veteran for consideration in hiring. PA CareerLink® offices comply with the Jobs for Veterans Act by providing priority services to veterans. Local Veterans Employment Representatives and/or Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialists are available at PA CareerLink® offices to assist veterans with job search and other employment needs. Job seekers identified as veterans are matched to job orders, before any other job seeker matches are performed.

Serves as a one-stop career center providing local job seekers with resources and personalized attention needed to find their next career opportunity. Services include vocational assessment, resume preparation, job finding assistance, hosting job fairs, and free use of space and equipment (computers, fax machine, telephone, etc.) for employment-related purposes.

Provides two weeks of life skills and job readiness training, mentoring (continues post-program), trauma-informed group counseling, and job finding assistance. Participants receive a $15.00 per hour stipend and a daily complimentary meal.

AMVETS implements programs for and advocates on behalf of veterans and their families. Programs aid individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in searching for jobs, refining interviewing skills, and transitioning into the workforce through temporary employment positions. They focus on working with each person in the setting in which they are most comfortable. The Commerce Park Clubhouse offers a variety of employment opportunities such as Transitional Employment Positions (TEP)and Supported Employment, and also provides in-house support for those in Independent Employment. TEP’s and Supported Employment also receive Job Coaching, funded through OVR. Clubhouse administrators try to match members with positions that fit a member's needs and skill sets. Commerce Park Clubhouse has a wide variety of opportunities for members to get involved in everything from cooking to how to use a computer throughout the work day. The Tower Cafe is a vocational training restaurant operated by Community Services Group.

Services include job counseling, testing and assessment; resume preparation assistance, interview training and other prejob guidance services; job matching and referral; unemployment insurance and job registration; labor market and career information; information on financial aid for education and training; and referral for job training, transportation, child care, personal and financial counseling, health care and other human services resources in the community.
