Offers interest-free loans up to $10,000 for large expenses (e.g., home repairs, buying or fixing a car, tuition, security deposit/down payment, small business expenses, legal fees (not restitution, but lawyer fees), medical/dental, adoption/fertility, etc.). LOANS FOR HOUSING EXPENSES: may ONLY be used for: initial security deposits or down payments to help someone move to a new place, AND MAY NOT BE USED FOR catching up on late or back rent payments, nor to pay monthly bills (utilities, cell phones, car payments, etc.). Loans MAY NOT BE USED TO: pay off existing loans, provide cash flow, pay for luxury vacations or jewelry, or other expenses like that. If an applicant's credit score is below 625 (or married couples combined score is less than 1250), they can still apply but will need a cosigner/guarantor for any loan. A spouse is not a cosigner/guarantor because they need to be a co-applicant (married couples must apply together unless they are separated/divorcing).

Provides emergency aid, in the form of either a direct grant (a cash gift, not to be repaid) or an interest-free loan, and by giving college scholarships to children of soldiers.

Offers businesses a single place to obtain and access a full range of business products and services.

Completes the loan packaging and works with the applicant to present it to area banks for funding. Offers a variety of loans: A) Credit Builder Loan up to $2,500 B) Direct Loan $1,000 to $2,500 C) Small Business Loan up to $10,000; Credit Line up to $20,000; Expansion Loan up to $50,000; and Real Estate Loan for Business Property up to $350,000

Provides an interest-free loan up to $5000 to cover cover basic needs for individuals affected by the federal government shutdown or the state budget impasse.
