Matches children with caring friends (adults, college students, or high school students) for one-to-one mentoring at local elementary schools and various after-school programs throughout the tri-county region. Offers the Bigs in Blue Program which provides law enforcement mentoring in schools during lunch or recess.

Provides limited direct financial assistance, financial planning, emergency heat response, automobile repair, furniture/household items/appliances/clothing/toiletries, back-to-school and holiday assistance, counseling/guidance, and life skill support. Coordinates medical transportation. Offers volunteer opportunities.

Matches volunteers in one-to-one relationships with adults who are recovering from mental illness. Their friendship provides structured opportunities for socialization which decreases loneliness and increases well being and confidence in the clients. Some opportunities include meeting for coffee, visiting local museums, going out to eat and taking walks together. Other volunteer opportunities include making a 15 minute phone call each week to an individual waiting for one-to-one friend. Program is also available to veterans.

Resource Liaisons are available to support anyone who has an urgent need and can be connected to a resource. Services of the Resource Liaisons will be determined based on need and are focused around the Social Determinants of Health, connecting people to resources within those areas to equip people and families to overcome short-term barriers that prevent stability.

Aids consumers in becoming more independent, locating resources needed to be independent, and achieving recovery. Peer Support does not provide treatment, but rather a mentorship.

Provides a variety of one-on-one mentoring programs for volunteer mentors (Bigs) and their mentees (Littles). Both community-based and site-based mentorship programs offered.

Offers short-term mentoring program that connects job-seekers with a volunteer in an industry or job field of interest to the individual seeking employment. Over three meetings, the mentor helps the mentee to strengthen their interview and job search skills and create a customized career plan while networking and building connections.

Provides an individualized service agreement, guided by the participants developing goals, targeting risk predictors of homelessness including necessary counseling, financial planning assistance, personal mentoring, and case management coordination services in order to fulfill individual goals.

Offers a two-part program focused on cultivating a restorative framework and restorative practices. Part One educates participants about restorative mental models through a 32-hour training facilitated during a nature-based retreat. During Part Two, participants conduct a participatory action research project exploring marronage (a community-based realization of freedom) in 12 sessions over 3 months. Program cohorts contain 10 youth. Participants are paid a $450 stipend.

Provides work opportunities with same day pay of $100. Also connects participants with peer mentors for additional support.

Helps kids learn life lessons while they build bicycles. Students are paired with adult mentors, then spend 12 weeks learning how to fix and ride a bike they choose. At the end of the session, students earn their refurbished bike and a new helmet. Students enrolled in this program can also access others, including afterschool drop-in, Earn a Book, youth leadership, and cycling programs.

Provides re-entry services. Assists with housing, mentoring, education, and employment.

Provides spiritual direction, academic assistance, and social support to children and teenagers. Services include an after-school program, martial arts, music instruction, tutoring, and homework help.

Offers first-generation high school students assistance with the college search and transition process; training for college admissions criteria and planning for deadlines and required fees; guidance with college and financial aid applications, testing, and personal essay writing; and mentorship through the student's college career. Also awards scholarships to qualified students.

An individualized, recovery-focused service that allows individuals the opportunity to learn to manage their own recovery and advocacy process from others living with mental illness who demonstrate ongoing success in their recovery.

Offers the following family support services for families and parents of children with disabilities: A) Community Links: One-stop online source for parents and professionals provides 24/7 access to information about child development, family activities and events, and local resources in Central PA. To learn more, visit: http://www.community-links.net B) Family Activities: Provide families with ongoing informal networking and information-sharing opportunities with other families and social activities that allow families to relax and unwind in a safe environment. These include pool parties, family movie nights, and an annual Family Fun Fair. C) Information and Referral: identifying resources in the community to assist families with needs like special education, family support, disabilities, income maintenance, and basic human needs. D) Sibshops: A unique sibling support forum gives brothers and sisters of a child with a disability the opportunity to give and receive support and information in a fun, recreational setting.

Provides life skills and core values education to youth through golf instruction. Session sizes are generally 20 participants.

Offers Individual support in the form of mentoring, life skills coaching, and guidance. Services are offered to anyone who is in need of help. Participants must agree to participate in Foundation programs and to accept the Foundation's philosophy of a "HandUP not a hand out."

Offers academic help through tutoring, working with accountability, time to complete assignments, and mentoring. Provides 8 weeks of summer camps.

Provides a specialized mental wellness and education center for children, teens, and parents. Services offered include outpatient counseling, tutoring and mentoring, support groups, and educational programs. Counseling services include play therapy, sand tray therapy, trauma-informed counseling, parent counseling, and family therapy. Telehealth counseling services available.
