Children are matched with a consistent, one to one relationship with a supportive, nonjudgmental volunteer mentor. The relationship is monitored monthly by staff to problem solve obstacles in the relationship in order to support the relationship. Community Based Mentoring (CB) - provides the opportunity for a volunteer age 18+ to establish a relationship with a child ages 6 - 13 from a single parent home. The child and the volunteer are matched through common interests in hopes that the volunteer is able to enhance the child's assets as well as broaden his/her horizons. Volunteers are trained to look for teachable moments to develop social, academic, physical skills as well as work on ethics, hobbies and cultural, recreational and environmental experiences. Transitional Mental Health Services
Helps kids learn life lessons while they build bicycles. Students are paired with adult mentors, then spend 12 weeks learning how to fix and ride a bike they choose. At the end of the session, students earn their refurbished bike and a new helmet. Students enrolled in this program can also access others, including afterschool drop-in, Earn a Book, youth leadership, and cycling programs.

Offers a mentorship program for boys and young adult males. Services include large group mentoring with topic-focused break out groups and one on one intervention as needed. Offers a mentoring program that promotes educational achievement; positive citizenship and leadership development; preparing for and maintaining employment; and support through guidance, counseling, and adult mentoring. Clients are exposed to high demand careers and go on several tours of successful businesses to learn about different careers. Clients are assisted in their college search, financial aid, and completing the FAFSA. SAT prep is offered and clients go on several college visits throughout their time in the program.

A school-based mentoring program. It is highly supervised by the professional staff of Big Brothers Big Sisters on-site at participating schools. The target population is elementary and middle school children, adaptable to meet the requirements of a particular school district. The program works in conjunction with school district officials to improve a child’s academic performance, self-confidence, respect for others & their cultures, and relationships with peers & adults.
