State Medicaid Waiver Programs
Offers mentoring program for children and youth with an incarcerated parent or other close relative. In this community-based program, mentors and mentees meet at least four hours per month for a minimum commitment of one year. Amachi's Ambassador's Program is a specialized youth organizing, advocacy, and leadership development program for high school students (age 14 to 18) impacted by the incarceration of a parent or a close loved one.
Provides monitored matches between adult mentors and youth participants.
Offers a two-part program focused on cultivating a restorative framework and restorative practices. Part One educates participants about restorative mental models through a 32-hour training facilitated during a nature-based retreat. During Part Two, participants conduct a participatory action research project exploring marronage (a community-based realization of freedom) in 12 sessions over 3 months. Program cohorts contain 10 youth. Participants are paid a $450 stipend.

Meets twice a month on Saturdays. Sessions cover topics such as self development, health and wellness, education and college, family matters, economic empowerment, trades, entrepreneurship, banking and investing, insurance, and home ownership. Partners with Father's Day Rally Committee to deliver program.
Matches local children with an adult friend to serve as a mentor through one-to-one time together. Provides individualized goal plans for each child, as well as professional staff support for volunteers, parents, and children.
Offers a mentorship program for boys and young adult males. Facilitates candid conversations about life choices and making positive life decisions, and provides advocacy and resources in support of mentees' expressed interests and concerns. Services include large group mentoring with topic-focused break out groups and one on one intervention as needed. Partner schools include Emlen Elementary, Martin Luther King, Jr. High, Roosevelt Elementary, and Wagner Middle.

At the end of the session, students earn their refurbished bike and a new helmet. Students enrolled in this program can also access others, including afterschool drop-in, Earn a Book, youth leadership, and cycling programs.
