Offers short-term mentoring program that connects job-seekers with a volunteer in an industry or job field of interest to the individual seeking employment. Over three meetings, the mentor helps the mentee to strengthen their interview and job search skills and create a customized career plan while networking and building connections.

Partners with local schools to support LGBTQ youth by recruiting LGBTQ volunteers to be group mentors to high school Gender and Sexuality Alliances. Volunteers attend regular after-school meetings for 12 months and work to help their mentees achieve their goals and realize their full potential. Rainbow Bigs program matches LGBTQ youth with mentors who identify as LGBTQ.

Connects young women to positive female figures from their community for 26-week program of mentoring sessions. Program covers diction, etiquette, technical skills, life skills and lessons, conflict resolution and decision making, proper dress and attire, and physical education.

Provides after school programming covering four core areas: education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, and fitness and recreation. Activities and services include homework help, digital literacy training, mentoring, sports and games, nutrition education, gardening, and more.

Youth are offered hands on projects in areas such as health, science, agriculture, and civic engagement based on their own interests and guided by adult mentors.

Partners with schools and community centers across the city to offer wrestling programming to Philadelphia youth. Also offers a mentoring program at headquarters for high school participants of the wrestling program; mentoring includes homework help, test prep, and college/career readiness assistance in a safe environment.

Provides job readiness coaching, peer mentoring, and group therapy sessions. Offers a variety of day and supportive living services, such as in-home and community supports, day services, respite, companion services, community participation supports, supportive living, supported employment, and deaf services with ASL.

Helps kids learn life lessons while they build bicycles. Students are paired with adult mentors, then spend 12 weeks learning how to fix and ride a bike they choose. At the end of the session, students earn their refurbished bike and a new helmet. Students enrolled in this program can also access others, including afterschool drop-in, Earn a Book, youth leadership, and cycling programs.

Provides limited direct financial assistance, financial planning, emergency heat response, automobile repair, furniture/household items/appliances/clothing/toiletries, back-to-school and holiday assistance, counseling/guidance, and life skill support. Coordinates medical transportation. Offers volunteer opportunities.

A group mentoring program for teens ages 13 and older who are already a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Designed to teach adult-life skills and help teens prepare for the decisions they will need to make after high school graduation. Meets once a month. It is run by teens.

Provides an individualized, recovery-focused service that allows individuals the opportunity to learn to manage their own recovery and advocacy process from others living with mental illness who demonstrate ongoing success in their recovery.

Offers mentoring program for children and youth with an incarcerated parent or other close relative. In this community-based program, mentors and mentees meet at least four hours per month for a minimum commitment of one year. Amachi's Ambassador's Program is a specialized youth organizing, advocacy, and leadership development program for high school students (age 14 to 18) impacted by the incarceration of a parent or a close loved one.

Matches volunteers in one-to-one relationships with adults who are recovering from mental illness. Their friendship provides structured opportunities for socialization which decreases loneliness and increases well being and confidence in the clients. Some opportunities include meeting for coffee, visiting local museums, going out to eat and taking walks together. Other volunteer opportunities include making a 15 minute phone call each week to an individual waiting for one-to-one friend. Program is also available to veterans.

Establishes one-to-one mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and children in order to provide guidance, mentoring, and friendship.

Offers after-School Tutoring, Internship, Counseling, and Mentoring Program for Youth provides students from the Logan/Olney neighborhood schools, with academic enrichment, job training, employment mentoring, and leadership training.

Offers free pregnancy tests, options counseling, medical referrals, ultrasound referrals, breastfeeding information, childbirth instruction, and peer mentoring.

Services include case management, counseling, career development, educational opportunities, and workshops using the Positive Action curriculum that addresses a range of topics such as digital literacy, conflict resolution, and entrepreneurship. Facilities include computer lab, video and arcade games, classrooms, and a snacks pantry.
