Addresses the needs of Latinx families by offering the opportunity for individual family sessions and a support group setting for parents to build community. Both session types are focused on the prevention of substance use and risky sexual behavior. These goals are accomplished by concentrating on developing family support for adolescents in all areas of their lives.

EMERGENCY SHELTER: Provides immediate help for men and women 18 years and older who have recently or unexpectedly experienced homelessness. This shelter uses a day center during the day and a church location for shelter at night. Clients must be able to physically navigate the program independently. RESOURCE CENTER: Serves as a day center where shelter residents perform basic tasks such as showering, laundry, cooking meals, making phone calls, receiving mail and messages, and lockers to store personal items. The center also acts as a place of contact for other community services like weekly medical assessments by local doctors, monthly oral exams by local oral surgeons, and monthly intake completion by Merakey professionals. Residents' weekly work with a supportive services coordinator to establish goals, provide accountability with a personal budget and credit report, employment search, and advocate on the client's behalf when necessary. OVERNIGHT: Currently hosted at St Paul's Church at 201 W Louther Street Carlisle. Must complete an intake to be part of the program.

Home visits include lessons in parenting skills and education as well as information and referrals for other identified needs in the household. Additionally, weekly parent-child group communication meetings are offered. Group meetings offer participating families to continue to work on their parent-child interaction skills as well as meeting with and socializing with other parents in programming.

Services of the Resource Liaisons will be determined based on need and are focused around the Social Determinants of Health, connecting people to resources within those areas to equip people and families to overcome short-term barriers that prevent stability.
