Snow Angels aims to help minimize the hardships of snow removal by pairing volunteers with elderly or disabled residents in their neighborhood who they will assist with snow removal after each snow storm for the winter season.

Offers free or sliding fee scale hoarding cleanup, lawn maintenance, debris removal, and light repairs/painting for qualifying individuals and families. The service is specifically designed to restore safe and sanitary living conditions while respecting the privacy and dignity of those involved.

Provides the following services: - Administers Get Connected, a web-based volunteer matching application for individuals, nonprofit agencies and corporations - Administers Corporate Volunteer Network - Recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies - Publishes bi-weekly newspaper column advocating volunteerism - Promotes volunteer recognition - Publishes directories listing volunteer opportunities - Provides volunteer management assistance for agencies - Administers the Student Volunteer Program which recruits and refers students to summer opportunities - Recruits volunteers for educational entities, e.g. Service Learning, Book Challenge, H.O.S.T.S., etc. - Serves as link to national organizations addressing volunteerism

Contacts older adults and individuals with disabilities during weather and community emergencies to see if they need assistance. Services could include grocery shopping, snow shoveling, or delivering medicine.

Helps older adults remain safe and independent in their homes and in the community. Provides non-medical and volunteer caregiving services including in-home visits, grocery shopping and errands, transportation and escorting to medical appointments, telephone reassurance, and home safety checks.

Assists with small repairs, household maintenance, and chores. Assists on a limited basis with relocation and moving, Services are based upon availability of volunteers.
