Empowers families with knowledge and skills to manage their own lives by providing parenting and budgeting education and to provide much needed transportation services for families requiring help with transportation to medical and other necessary services. Services are provided in-home and at the Family Center.

Provides individual family coaching and counseling through Dauphin County Drug and Alcohol Services.

Offers an evidence-based intervention program that is provided at the beginning of services with the center, that functions to identify family strengths, challenges, and needs, all while increasing motivation for change.

Offers a literacy program for families. Subjects include basic adult education, parenting, school readiness, and early childhood education.

Provides violence prevention and awareness education training and workshops throughout the community. Presentation topics include: Becoming trauma-informed, bullying prevention, bystander intervention for students, Diversity-inclusion-bias, Domestic Violence 101, Healthly relationships , sexting, sexual assault 101, Teen dating violence and workplace safety related to sexual harassment.

Provides instructor-led programs with information on growth and development, play and learning, and feeding.

Works with families to increase their ability to self manage and problem-solve.

Provides parents, guardians, and caregivers with training in positive parenting, child development, problem-solving, and building healthy family relationships. Includes group sessions, educational resources, and strategies for quality parent-child time

Offers a home visitation program that provides support, information, and referral services to pregnant women and parents with children. Specializes in modeling good parenting techniques and effective discipline practices, child and parent advocacy, educating parents on child growth and development, and working towards family sustainability.

Helps ex-offenders through one-to-one mentoring, information and referral, and family activities.

Offers a workshop that explores unhealthy relationships, how women get into them, how they can get out of them and how to avoid the same mistakes.

Assists clients in finding resources and making referrals. Providess case management for up to 5 years.

Provides affordable housing, self-sufficiency coaching, and educational supports to help families achieve long-term stability. Helps client families plan and achieve family goals. Coaching designed to help families reach goals concerning child care, education, employment, finances, home management, parenting, personal development, physical and mental health, and recovery from substance use.

Resource Liaisons are available to support anyone who has an urgent need and can be connected to a resource. Services of the Resource Liaisons will be determined based on need and are focused around the Social Determinants of Health, connecting people to resources within those areas to equip people and families to overcome short-term barriers that prevent stability.

Provides networking and educational opportunities and events to nurture a collaboration of representatives from community groups including human services, health, medical, clergy, government, education, and persons from the general public. Offer families a welcoming, sensory-friendly environment to enjoy structured community events together each month. Designed to create calm, inclusive experiences, these outings provide families the opportunity to connect, strengthen relationships, and build positive memories.

Offers free in-person and virtual workshops for families and other members of the School District of Philadelphia community. Workshops cover a variety of topics with expert-led content to support personal growth, student success, and greater connections within our schools, communities, and city.Translation and interpretation services are available upon request.

Offers a 12-session healthy relationship/co-parenting course. Topics include positive family dynamics, child development, how children impact relationships, teamwork, anger and abuse, family values, dealing with conflict and forgiveness.
