Services include general foster care, treatment foster care, medical foster care, kinship foster care, and respite care.

Provides a variety of child placement services for both children and families, including adoption searches, child profiles, child preparation, home studies, and post-permanency services. As an affiliate of the Statewide Adoption Network (SWAN), FSNWPA recruits and assesses families who wish to adopt children available through any Office of Children and Youth agency in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Children available for adoption are typically age 6 or older and may have a history of physical abuse, sexual abuse, or neglect. They may also have medical or educational limitations or emotional problems.

Provides assessment, outreach and strengthening to families involved in the child welfare system.

Serves as an affiliate of the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN). Offers the following services: child profiles, child preparation, child-specific recruitment, family profiles (adoption home studies), placement, finalization, and post-permanency. Provides private adoption home studies and ACT 101 adoption searches.

Provides home study, evaluation, training, licensing for foster homes, and supportive services for the placement of children up to 18 years of age by Dauphin County Social Services for Children and Youth.

Provides intake services division, family preservation services division, reunification and permanency services division, family group decision making, and other services.

Provides protection of children, birth to 18 years, through investigation of child abuse and neglect, foster care program, adoption program, and prevention and education programs

Investigates reports of child abuse and neglect. Also provides education to prevent child abuse and neglect, temporary substitute placement for dependent children and youth, services to reunite dependent children with their families, and court-ordered care or supervision to alleged or adjudicated children and youth.
