C) New Generations: Provides Permanent Supportive Housing for young mothers who have been identified as homeless, each with up to two children.

Operates the Children's Home of York's Permanency Program. Provides a variety of services for children and their biological, foster, and/or adoptive families from birth through the age of 18. Maintains an ongoing process of recruitment, screening, and training which enables us to offer diverse geographical and racial/ethnic environments essential to the successful placement of children and sibling groups of all ages who have a variety of emotional and psychological needs.

BHRS provides clinical, child-centered, family-focused care for children with an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. Services for children and their families assist them in developing new skills and coping mechanisms. Services are provided on a one-to-one basis by culturally competent staff either in the child's home, school, daycare center or community.

Foster Home Placement
Provides three levels of Foster Care in a family based model. Maintains Community Residential Rehabilitation Homes (CRR's) for children who cannot live with natural parents and also have serious mental health concerns.
Provides child welfare services through programs in foster care, adoption, and permanency. Varying levels of foster care are offered including intensive foster care for youth whose needs cannot be met in their own families; intermediate foster care for youth who generally do not require more intensive interventions; and medical foster care for youth with acute physical, emotional or mental disabilities as an alternative to hospitalization or institutionalization.

Children's Review Team is an out of home placement option. It is the mechanism to insure that every community resource and option for a child has been considered and exhausted prior to a child being referred to a therapeutic foster care program or a residential treatment facility. The Children's Review Team will facilitate and connect children to the most appropriate mental health service as deemed by the Interagency Service Planning Team.
