Vacation Bible School

Provides a Lutheran church that features Puppets in the Pulpit, Adult bible study, Monthly women's group, Summer Vacation Bible School, music programs.

Offers children's classes on Sunday, and youth group on Wednesday. We also have several community outreach events that we put on during the year including Trunk or Treat, Night of Lights, and Christmas Eve service.

Offers parochial education.

Provides recreational and spiritually enriching activities.

Calvary Baptist offers MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), FW: Friends (children's club for K-5), youth group, and many worship and small group opportunities.

Provides intensive, long-term case management to help people overcome the barriers (employment, marital or family issues, budgeting, housing, transportation, decision-making, etc.) that keep them from reaching their full potential. Offers weekly, private, 2-hour life coaching sessions, accountability, and guidance.

Offers a two-year training program that provides an experience of deepening contemplative prayer and training in the art of being a spiritual guide. Hosts several spiritual retreats throughout the year and deepening programs for those already trained in spiritual direction.

Provides a ten-day summer day camp for children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing ages 6-15 years old. Camp is held on weekdays starting June 17- Friday, June 28, 2024 9:00 am - 2:00 pm at Saint Joseph’s University, University City campus located at 600 S 43rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104

Offers shelter for males, reserved through the Chester County Re-Entry Program. Shelter beds for other men are provided on a space-available basis. A three-phase residential Bible program is also provided for men.

Offer emergency aid relief world-wide; all requests are submitted to the church and, in turn, to the Mennonite Board. Also provides short term service opportunities for youth.

Provides Christian instruction and worship opportunities, some counseling, annual Christmas service for church and community, seasonal fellowship events, recreational activities such as picnics, crafts, bowling, etc.

Sponsors a time of food and fellowship for individuals. Breakfast is served

Develop and support parish lay leaders. Train and support parish volunteers. Prime Time Clubs meet and focus on the intellectual, spiritual, social and economic needs of members.

Offers worship services, periodic Bible studies, a book club, breakfast club, seniors’ group, and Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank and Red Cross blood drives.

Offers home visitations to older adults.

Services include: * Support groups -Caregiver Groups, for women and men caring for spouse/child affected with a disability -Parents with children with disabilities -Singles with disabilities -Young Adults living with disabilities * Speakers available * Wheels for the World, collects and refurbishes old wheelchairs and distributes them worldwide * Special Delivery, gift packages of institutionalized materials delivered to people with disabilities who are hospitalized, homebound or institutionalized * Holds 3 one-week retreats per year for families with a disabled family member * Holds 1 one-week Warrior Getaway retreat for service men and women (with visible and invisible wounds of war) and their families. * Works with local churches to establish disability ministry programs in their congregations
