Develop a smoke-free lifestyle The program is offered free of charge. Wellspan Health offers free one-on-one tobacco treatment planning sessions to Adams and York county residents. At these counseling sessions, a certified tobacco cessation counselor will:

Assess your dependence on nicotine

Discuss any past attempts to quit

Review strategies and coping skills to get you through urges to smoke or chew

Develop a tailored "quit plan" specific to your lifestyle. Wellspan Health also offers a self guided program for those who want to quit on their own. WellSpan also provides referrals to the PA quitline at 1800-quitnow

The Health Dept. offers a wide variety of educational and preventive programs and consulting services. Programs are available to schools, businesses, community organization, etc., and can be tailored to fit most health topics. Available programs include cancer prevention, cardiovascular health and screenings, childhood lead poisoning prevention, dental health, falls prevention, tobacco control, nutrition and physical activity, Lyme Disease and osteoporosis.

Provides services geared towards individuals experiencing a substance use disorder, including education and intervention, brief therapy, relapse prevention, adolescent outpatient programs, women in recovery programs, intensive outpatient programs, and more.

Operates a veterans outpatient clinic with services including primary care, audiology, dental care, dermatology, gynecology, podiatry, rehabilitation services, smoking cessation, social work and mental health services. Does not offer emergency services at this location. Has volunteer opportunities available.

Operates an outpatient primary medical care clinic for Veterans through the Lebanon VA. Offers primary care and annual physicals by appointment, preventive services, women's health services, routine lab work, EKGs, immunizations, medication review, tele-mental health and social work services, treatment of conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory disease, common cold, influenza, tobacco cessation and specialty referrals. Telehealth: As a convenience to our patients, some services are offered by electronic means. Individual or group appointments may be performed via video to the Lebanon VAMC or other medical facility. Also, various tests can now be performed at any one of the six outpatient clinics, with the analysis being performed at the Lebanon VAMC or other medical facility. Provides medical care and pharmaceutical services. Offers complete health assessments; screenings and diagnostic testing; diagnosis and management of mild to moderate chronic diseases including: hypertension, diabetes, elevated cholesterol, CAD, COPD, and arthritis; minor trauma care; free medication (except controlled medication); referrals to specialists within the Penn Highlands network; and more.

Provides comprehensive preventive dental hygiene services administered by students within the Dental Hygiene degree program. All treatment procedures are supervised by licensed dentists and dental hygienists.

A comprehensive facility that offers programs to both employers and the community at large. It's mission is to enhance the quality of life at every stage, from infancy to the senior years. Classes are available on a variety of topics promoting a healthier lifestyle (i.e., stop smoking, weight management) - Childhood immunizations, One-on-One counseling, and health education classes are just a few of the services provided by the Wellness Center

Operates a call center. Provides information on topics including allergies, environmental issues, and how to quit smoking. Offers physician referrals.

Offers a range of supportive health services, including mental health support and counseling, postpartum care, substance use disorder referrals, diabetes prevention, rapid STI testing, and free period products.

Provides a variety of programs to residents in regards to personal and professional development, as well as parenting skills classes. These programs encompass health, domestic violence prevention and avoidance, financial education, career workshops, and new parent planning.

Provides tobacco cessation services. NOTE: Trained instructors work with tobacco users to develop an individualized quit plan.

Maintains county-wide leadership in the development and implementation of policies, programs, and a system of prevention and intervention services that prevent the onset of illegal alcohol, tobacco and drug use, problem gambling and gaming, and treatment services that promote recovery from addiction to all substances. Provides Naloxone kits for Berks County residents and businesses, requested at: cocaberks.org/narcan, that can be picked up at the RISE Center, Hispanic Center or at the COCA office.

Prevention, education, advocacy, enforcement for pregnant women using tobacco. Patients offered free diapers for compliance with quitting smoking.

Provides smoking cessation services through the Respiratory Therapy Department. Offers inpatient consulting to all patients who use tobacco products, as well as outpatient one-on-one consulting and group quit classes.

Offers a range of supportive health services, including mental health support and counseling, postpartum care, substance use disorder referrals, diabetes prevention, rapid STI testing, and free period products.

Improves access and the health of the community through the delivery of coordinated comprehensive services for all ages and residents of Berks County regardless of their economic status.

Offers an 8-week (meeting one time per week) cessation program.

Individual sessions which provides resources and information to help individuals quit smoking. The SmokeFREE program is conducted by phone and participants may be eligible to receive free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).

Offers a range of supportive health services, including mental health support and counseling, postpartum care, substance use disorder referrals, diabetes prevention, rapid STI testing, and free period products.

Lancaster County's One-Stop Shop for information on alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and gambling. Information and referral staff provide answers to questions about addiction and provide referrals to treatment and support via phone, email, or web chat. Offers a film streaming library and brochure clearinghouse free of charge to the public.

Offers services and resources to help individuals reduce and quit tobacco use.

Provides programming for education and resources for smoking cessation in the Hispanic/Latino community.

Provides a 10-week program that combines educational materials, behavioral counseling, and nicotine patches/gum to assist and support individuals in their effort to quit using tobacco.

Tobacco cessation program supplements the care that patients receive from their primary care providers. During primary care appointments, provider will assess readiness to quit smoking. When you are ready, a certified cessation specialists will strategize with help come up with an action plan to quit.
