Directs prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery support services for residents of Centre County and their families who are affected by the chronic disease of addiction. Case management staff provide outreach/education/referral services, and conduct assessments to connect individuals with drug & alcohol treatment. Intensive case coordination services are available for those individuals who need additional support in connecting to treatment services.

Offers a range of supportive health services, including mental health support and counseling, postpartum care, substance use disorder referrals, diabetes prevention, rapid STI testing, and free period products.

Provides free, confidential assistance for individuals seeking substance use or gambling treatment and recovery services. In addition to one-on-one navigation, the Addiction Resource Center also provides free brochures, educational materials, and speaking engagements for individuals and community organizations throughout Chester County.

Operates a hotline that provides crisis counseling, assesses the level of treatment necessary, and matches callers with resources according to their needs.

Provides funding for substance use disorder treatment services for uninsured and underinsured, with priority services for pregnant women, drug abusers, veterans, and overdose survivors. Also offers prevention and education programming within schools and throughout the community, Narcan training and distribution, and options for the safe disposal of unused and unwanted medication.

Helps individials with substance use disorder to access treatment services.

Assessment and referral can be made for detox services, short/long term rehabilitation services, partial hospitalization, half-way house, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, and methadone and suboxone maintenance.

Provides support, referrals, and coordination of services for people transitioning from one treatment provider or level of care to another.

Provides assistance in accessing needed services and resources, as well as support and advocacy for individuals with substance use issues.

Provides screening for drug and alcohol use as the first function necessary to meet the client's needs. The main purpose of screening is to evaluate the need for a referral to emergent care setting, including detoxification, prenatal, perinatal, and psychiatric services, and then to motivate and refer the individual for a level of care assessment or other services.

Provides harm reduction supplies for safer substance use including syringes, naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and more.

Services include assessment, case management, detoxification programs, drug and alcohol counseling (outpatient and intensive outpatient), medication-assisted treatment programs, residential rehabilitation programs (short-term and long-term), and halfway house and recovery house programs.

Provides Case management to help individuals who struggle with substance abuse develop a sober and drug-free lifestyle, while working towards stability in housing, education, employment, transportation, child care, and healthcare. Services include: connecting individuals to treatment options; assisting with application processes such as Medical Assistance, Social Security, job applications and educational opportunities; legal advocacy; life skills coaching; referrals for transportation, childcare, food, clothing, and other basic needs.

Operates a call center that provides resources and guidance to people with substance use disorder (SUD). Offers referrals to treatment, finding resources, and meetings, as well as offering guidance and support

Provides assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning for individuals with mental health needs and substance use disorders.

Provides substance use disorder prevention services and aftercare. Also offers career readiness classes in barber and cosmetology.

Provide assessment, evaulations, and referrals to appropriate drug/alcohol treatment facilities. Also offers intensive case management services and assessments for DUI offenders. Serves as the liaison to Student Assistance Teams by following up and conducting evaluations of students who may be at risk for alcohol and/or drug abuse. Offer materials on drug and alcohol abuse to local groups and in-service trainings to professionals.
