Provides case management services including level of care assessments, referrals, and placements into outpatient and inpatient treatment. Can also assist with linkages or referrals for additional needs.

All substance use disorder services are rendered through contracted SUD treatment service providers and the treatment related service providers. The service providers make arrangements for LCDAC funding assistance for qualified individuals who do not have insurance or the ability to pay for their substance use disorder treatment/treatment-related services. Funding assistance is available for all levels of care (detox, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, halfway house, residential) as well as the identified treatment related services (case management/care coordination, MAT: methadone, suboxone, vivitrol). Funding assistance may also be available for individuals with a gambling use disorder. Prevention/education programs are available in all 16 school districts

Provides substance use disorder prevention services and aftercare. Also offers career readiness classes in barber and cosmetology.

Provides drug and alcohol assessments, prevention and education, and assistance in accessing other programs and services.

Offers recovery housing and peer to peer recovery services like Medication Assisted Recovery, Recovery Specialist Services, Life Skills classes, Recovery 101 groups, Recovery Planning Warm Hand off for Overdose Survivors, and Vocational Assistance. Offers social events like dances, workshops, and breakfasts.

Offers a range of supportive health services, including mental health support and counseling, postpartum care, substance use disorder referrals, diabetes prevention, rapid STI testing, and free period products.

Maintains county-wide leadership in the development and implementation of policies, programs, and a system of prevention and intervention services that prevent the onset of illegal alcohol, tobacco and drug use, problem gambling and gaming, and treatment services that promote recovery from addiction to all substances. Provides Naloxone kits for Berks County residents and businesses, requested at: cocaberks.org/narcan, that can be picked up at the RISE Center, Hispanic Center or at the COCA office.

Services include one-on-one peer recovery support, warm handoff referrals to Opioid and Stimulant Use Disorder treatment, care coordination among mental health, physical health, and pregnancy/postpartum health (i.e., obstetrics), and ongoing family recovery education. Provides comprehensive wraparound support for pregnant and parenting people.

Offers a range of supportive health services, including mental health support and counseling, postpartum care, substance use disorder referrals, diabetes prevention, rapid STI testing, and free period products.

Provides harm reduction supplies for safer substance use including syringes, naloxone, fentanyl test strips, and more.
