Provides Naloxone kits for Berks County residents and businesses, requested at: cocaberks.org/narcan, that can be picked up at the RISE Center, Hispanic Center or at the COCA office.

Plans, coordinates and administers drug and alcohol services for the tri-county community, especially the un-insured or under insured. Centralized intake service conducts an assessment interview to determine the proper treatment protocol for an Individual based on degree and severity of drug and/or alcohol use, as well as his/her medical, social, family, educational and vocational history. All of the Commission's inpatient and outpatient treatment services are provided through contracts with various providers.

For individuals without insurance funding assistance is available from the Chester County Department of Drug and Alcohol Services. For uninsured individuals assessment for treatment must be done through one of multiple licensed points of entry including this Gaudenzia location. Assessment is needed to determine what level of care and intensity of service is necessary. Based on the assessment, a referral will be made to the appropriate treatment program.

The goal of Operation REACH (Relief for Emergency Assistance through Community Help) is to assist veterans who are struggling with substance abuse and/ or co-occurring mental health needs get the help that they need. This initiative will focus on the comprehensive needs of the veteran and delivering services through a holistic approach. Operation REACH will strive to provide intervention support services through a targeted case management model. Veterans and their families will benefit from targeted case management through assistance in coordination with basic necessities. Unlike many programs, characterization of discharge will not serve as eligibility criteria for Operation REACH.
