Provides assessments for those dealing with alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use problems. Helps with referrals to support services and treatment. Contracted services include outpatient counseling, intensive outpatient counseling, partial hospitalization, halfway house, non-hospital detoxification and rehabilitation, hospital-based detoxification and rehabilitation, methadone maintenance and other medication assisted treatment.

All substance use disorder services are rendered through contracted SUD treatment service providers and the treatment related service providers. The service providers make arrangements for LCDAC funding assistance for qualified individuals who do not have insurance or the ability to pay for their substance use disorder treatment/treatment-related services. Funding assistance is available for all levels of care (detox, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, halfway house, residential) as well as the identified treatment related services (case management/care coordination, MAT: methadone, suboxone, vivitrol). Funding assistance may also be available for individuals with a gambling use disorder. Prevention/education programs are available in all 16 school districts

Provides information, referral, and funding assistance to Lebanon County residents seeking drug and alcohol abuse treatment services. All services are confidential.

Provides funding for substance use disorder treatment services for uninsured and underinsured, with priority services for pregnant women, drug abusers, veterans, and overdose survivors. Also offers prevention and education programming within schools and throughout the community, Narcan training and distribution, and options for the safe disposal of unused and unwanted medication.

Provides funding for prevention, intervention, and treatment services to all eligible children, adults, and families. Services include detox, inpatient rehab, methadone maintenance, Vivitrol, recovery housing, certified recovery services, a halfway house, outpatient care, case management, a Student Assistance Program (SAP), and free prevention services to all who are struggling with alcohol, tobacco, other substances, and/or problem gambling.

Provides services covering the full continuum of care to the residents of both Luzerne and Wyoming Counties in the areas of prevention, intervention, treatment, and treatment related services.

For uninsured individuals assessment for treatment must be done through one of multiple licensed points of entry including this Gaudenzia location. Assessment is needed to determine what level of care and intensity of service is necessary. Based on the assessment, a referral will be made to the appropriate treatment program.

Provides substance use disorder assessments and referrals to all levels of treatment, substance use disorder recovery support services, warm hand-off (24/7 access to care) at both local emergency departments, mental health case management services, and a urinalysis testing center.

Plans, coordinates and administers drug and alcohol services for the tri-county community, especially the un-insured or under insured. Centralized intake service conducts an assessment interview to determine the proper treatment protocol for an Individual based on degree and severity of drug and/or alcohol use, as well as his/her medical, social, family, educational and vocational history. All of the Commission's inpatient and outpatient treatment services are provided through contracts with various providers.

Provides screening for drug and alcohol use as the first function necessary to meet the client's needs. The main purpose of screening is to evaluate the need for a referral to emergent care setting, including detoxification, prenatal, perinatal, and psychiatric services, and then to motivate and refer the individual for a level of care assessment or other services.

The goal of Operation REACH (Relief for Emergency Assistance through Community Help) is to assist veterans who are struggling with substance abuse and/ or co-occurring mental health needs get the help that they need. This initiative will focus on the comprehensive needs of the veteran and delivering services through a holistic approach. Operation REACH will strive to provide intervention support services through a targeted case management model. Veterans and their families will benefit from targeted case management through assistance in coordination with basic necessities. Unlike many programs, characterization of discharge will not serve as eligibility criteria for Operation REACH. Maintains county-wide leadership in the development and implementation of policies, programs, and a system of prevention and intervention services that prevent the onset of illegal alcohol, tobacco and drug use, problem gambling and gaming, and treatment services that promote recovery from addiction to all substances.
