The property must be located in the city, be affordable to the household, be a single family unit and pass occupancy and safety inspections. Offers up to 20% of the home purchase price as a Deferred Repayment and a 0% interest loan. Payments are deferred for up to a 30 year term if the property remains the buyers primary residence, the buyer maintains the property and all other requirements are met. Verification of all household income and assets is required. Standard financial documentation is needed for grant and loan applications. Waiting lists are maintained. Funding is dependent upon federal budget.
