Preserves the historical documents of York County and provides access to these documents to the general public. Will copy documents, when possible. Will also handle small research requests through the mail or e-mail. Some of the records held by the Archives include Marriages, Deeds, Wills, Birth Records, Death Records, and Tax Records. Also supports Philadelphia students and educators by offering virtual class visits, including instruction on using Free Library databases for academic research customized to class projects.
