Provides community-based counseling centers that provide a wide range of counseling services. Individual and group counseling for Veterans, service members, and their families. Marriage counseling, family counseling for military related issues, bereavement counseling, and military sexual trauma counseling. Also, provides outreach, education and referral to VA or community events. Vet Center counselors and outreach staff, many of whom are Veterans themselves, are experienced and prepared to discuss the experiences had during service.

If an emergency requires leave for a service member, will verify the emergency to the appropriate military commander. Eligibility for emergency leave will ultimately be determined by each service member’s commander.
