Mental Health Partnerships - Training, Education and Consultation Family Center

Offers workshops designed to help family members, partners, and friends learn how to cope with an adult who has a mental illness. Also offers one-on-one consultations, either in person or by phone, with family members and friends and train mental health professionals who work with seriously ill adults and families.

Butler County Area Agency on Aging - Family Caregiver Support Program

Provides support to caregivers of functionally dependent adults. Caregivers who are accepted into the program may be eligible to receive up to $600 per month reimbursement for the purchase of supportive services and goods from a pre-authorized care plan. The level of reimbursement is determined on the basis of caregiver need, income, actual expenditures, and the availability of funds.

Greater Erie Community Action Committee - Caregiver Support Program

Provides reimbursement for care giving expenses for people caring for parents, spouses, children or relatives that live at home. Benefits provided include: financial reimbursements, adult day care, skilled nursing and household expenses, home modification or assistive devices such as ramps and wheelchairs. Information and referral on resources, respite care, benefits counseling, caregiver training, and care coordination may also be available.

Clarion Area Agency on Aging - Caregiver Support Program

Provides care management services, benefits counseling, and financial support for a primary caregiver. Reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses such as respite care and supplies and one-time grants for renovation are available. Reimbursement is based on income.

Toll-free support line for those who provide care for veterans living with the effects of war, disability, chronic illness, or aging. The support line provides information on VA caregiver support resources and "warm" referral to caregiver support coordinators located in all VA medical centers. The support line is also available to respond to inquiries about the caregiver benefits associated with the Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act of 2010.
