Assist in directing caregivers and families to resources for supporting children with special needs. When possible, organization takes requests for items that are deemed beneficial for a child but may not be covered through medical insurance.

Provides a social gathering place where children with serious, chronic, or terminal illnesses or disabilities and their families can drop in to play or socialize with other people going through similar experiences.

Links families with other families and professionals in a supportive environment, and sharing current information on available resources.

Provides interim funds to otherwise financially stable families to help relieve the financial stress of their child’s illness or traumatic injury. Funds applied to non-medical bills such as rent, mortgage, utilities, groceries and household expenses, transportation and gas, home and vehicle modifications, specialty medical equipment, childcare expenses for siblings, and funeral expenses.

Provide care managers to advocate for the individual and work with family members, legal professionals, and financial advisors to understand the individual's specific challenges. Offers support to navigate the health care system, understand health insurance benefits, and determine residential options. Provides education with obtaining referrals when needed.

Offers annual summer day camp for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Offers a day off school camp for children of all abilities on days when schools are closed and families are looking for fun, safe and engaging coverage for their children. Two age groups available: elementary (ages 6 to 12) and teen (ages 13 to 21).

Offers early intervention servides providing evaluations, nutrition services, physical therapy, nursing services, occupational therapy, social work, speech therapy, service coordination, special instruction, and ancillary support services.

For individuals needing a higher level of care, a case manager will assist the family in choosing a Residential Program that will best meet the needs of the child.

Offers the Home Services Program that provides information, advocacy and referral services for children and adults with disabilities, and their families, in a seven-county area. This program provides a vital link to needed community services for individuals and families who may not otherwise be able to access them.

Offers year-round services that include summer camps for youth with autism and/or in need of social skills development, therapeutic riding lessons, extended school year programming, equine assisted learning, equine assisted teambuilding and wellness workshops, and other individualized offerings. Glade Run Adventures also serves students at St. Stephen's Academy and hosts Glade Run's Sensory Park and Playground, a public play space designed to meet the needs of children with autism and their families.

Supports families of pediatric cancer patients throughout central and northeast Pennsylvania. Unlike other funds, 90% of the money donated to ThinkBIG goes directly towards supporting families. ThinkBIG does not pay the salary of patient care providers, provide funds to support renovations to the local children's hospital, or allocate money to pediatric cancer research.
