Services may include building a network of natural supports; developing a Wellness Recovery Action Plan; facilitating collaboration with service providers, healthcare providers, transportation, and other resources; and assistance with nursing home transition planning.

Offers online support groups for parents and other primary caregivers from across Pennsylvania. Meetings are conducted via Zoom to connect parents and primary caregivers experiencing similar challenges.

It can be used for the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and depression both alone, and in conjunction with other forms of therapy

Aging Advocacy - MHA provides advocacy services at the South Mountain Restoration Center to ensure the rights of individuals to receive the most appropriate services in the most appropriate setting are assured. Community Advocacy - MHA provides advocacy services when community members who need assistance with getting appropriate or desired services feel they have exercised all options available to them.

Mindfulness is the ability to pay attention to the present moment without judgment. It allows individuals to focus on the now, rather than get lost in the future or the past. It teaches us to disengage from our thoughts and take action toward things we care about. Mindfulness-based therapies have been widely recognized as an empirically based treatment for trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, addiction, pain management, stress management, and many other issues that we face every day.

Office of Mental Health provides treatment and supports for residents with serious and persistent mental illness.

Provides a directory, NOT a service, that offers information ONLY on community resources, services, and supports that are available to individuals in recovery from mental illness who are interested in furthering that recovery through employment.

Caseworkers offer counseling to those who are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, alone, afraid, anxious or other challenging emotions and refer them to community-based resources that can further help to meet individual needs.
