All students with signed parental permission forms are eligible to participate in Life Skills Training class, a prevention-focused initiative that teaches positive decision making, self awareness and self management skills. The case management support initiative identifies students at high risk for school failure and dropout, and provides an individualized supportive process that addresses risks maintaining positive attendance and reducing tardiness; to make progress in school by decreasing disciplinary actions and increasing grades; and to increase school engagement.
