Enrichment at GHNPSS includes programs to encourage enrichment and education at Encore Experiences in Harleysville and The PEAK Center in Lansdale. Offers assistance to families helping them to become self-sufficient and assists with subsidized housing.

Assist veterans and their family members with information regarding federal, state and local benefits. Services include assistance in filing for and accessing the following federal benefits: compensation for service connected disability; pension for veterans unable to work; and burial benefits. The benefits for family members of deceased veterans include dependency and indemnity compensation and survivor's pension.

Provides Youth Enrichment Programs through day camps, clubs, STEM and more for children.

Each Thursday after work, about 50 of the clients from our day program gather in one of two groups for fun and learning. The groups are led by a team of volunteers. Some of our volunteers are Handi-Crafters' staff who put on different hats for the afternoon, while others are from the community at-large. Each group has five or six "helpers" as they work through the afternoon's activities. These activities include musical sing alongs; exercising to "Chicken Fat", discovering their artistic talents, playing BINGO and many others. Special events are planned around the holidays.

Operates as an outpatient mental health facility, providing meals, field trips, and daily activities. Cafe Aurora located at the Mechanicsburg Drop-in center offers live entertainment along with gourmet teas, coffees, and baked goods available for a donation.

Offers grant making services to help sustain local and regional, non-profit organizations, whose initiatives help to address some of Northeastern and North Central Pennsylvania's most pressing health challenges. Provides grants generally ranging from $5,000 to $25,000. Considers grants for solution-based and evidence-based programs in health care, human services, health education and disease prevention.

Provides training and instruction required to obtain the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification and for a career in emergency medical services. Includes lab work, crisis communication training, mental health first aid training, professional development workshops, study sessions, and career exposure. Holds classes 3 days per week at All-State Career School and 2 days a week at Congreso's Education & Training Center. Program is full-time and runs 12 weeks.

Provides the protection of lives and property of Pike County residents from the effects of natural or man-made disasters which the county is subject to, including floods, major fires, storms, radiological or hazardous material incidents, aircraft accidents, mass casualty incidents and any related function that supports other Pike County First Responders. The Office of Emergency Management is responsible for planning, training, assignment and coordination of all available resources in an integrated program of mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery for emergencies of any kind. The Office is also responsible for organizing all locally available manpower, supplies, equipment and services necessary for disaster emergency readiness, response and recovery.

Serves as an outpatient treatment facility for adults and adolescents with drug and alcohol addiction as well as children and teens recovering from trauma or are involved in the child welfare system. Length of treatment is individually determined, based on goals and progress and includes both individual and group therapy sessions.

Offers support services such as limited housing and a weekly Military Food Share Program, which provides a box of groceries that includes fresh produce, milk, eggs, cheese, and meat.
