Requiring a rental agreement or lease which provides that the tenant shall remain childless or may not maintain a household with a person of a certain age 4. Failing to allow a service/support animal for a person with a disability in an apartment or house with a no pet policy. 5. Not allowing a tenant with a disability that receives social security disability payments the reasonable accommodation of paying rent at a date later than the first of each month when a tenant receives their check after the first. Produces a series of housing rights and responsibilities materials as well as offers private consultations

Provides legal representation to victims of housing discrimination in connection with the rental or sale of property, accessibility, mortgage lending, advertising, and other contexts. Also provides legal assistance in connection with administrative investigation and enforcement, aiding the complainant with complaint preparation, and presentation of claims.

Participants live in their own housing in the community and receive 3+ months of case management. This may include budgeting guidance, landlord advocacy, education about available resources, and short-term rental assistance. Emergency Housing - Helps individuals and families get off the streets, out of unsafe environments, and begin their journey towards housing stability. Provides them with a fully secured place to rest, plenty of food, and all the daily necessities of living. Also provides intensive case management to help them fulfill their goals. A typical stay in one of their emergency housing is 30 - 60 days. Residential Housing - Provides transitional services that serve as stepping stones for participants who work through the 60 day program. They own several properties across Lancaster Counties which are used to provide individuals and families housing at a much lower than typical rental rate while providing participants continued case management. This empowers individuals and families to develop a budget, increase savings, and fulfill their personal goals prior to moving into permanent housing.

The YWCA Supportive Services team members provide outreach services, case management services, assistance in obtaining VA benefits, and assistance in obtaining and coordinating other public and mainstream benefits.

Emergency shelter and transitional housing program provides shelter for homeless single women and families. Program focuses on identifying the barriers that keep their residents from reaching their housing goals. This is a community living facility. Each resident has their own bedroom that is shared with their children. The kitchen, bathrooms, and lounges are utilized by all residents.
