Offers a range of services for children, adolescents, and their families in areas of mental health and autism in the home, at school, and in the community. Services include Community and School Based Behavioral Health, Family Based Mental Health Services (FBMH), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Student Assistance Program (SAP).

Provides standardized, focused access to homeless services for individuals and families without a stable, safe and affordable home in Lackawanna County. Services include comprehensive intake and assessment and linkages to case management, housing and supportive services.

Provides processing services for individuals charged with criminal offenses. Performs fingerprint services for individuals applying for employment with businesses requiring a background check.

Provides specialized outpatient services for teens with substance use disorders.

Provides shared-ride transportation to medical appointments, senior centers, and senior center sponsored activities (such as group grocery shopping and other social activities).

Offers emergency assistance for the following: A) Utilities (must have shut off notice), B) Rent (must have eviction notice), C) Emergency food, D) Lodging (hotel voucher) with Red Cross referral, E) Burial (limited availability), F) Prescription medications, G) Clothing and household items through free warehouse shopping. Also provides assistance with Dollar Energy applications. Undesignated assistance may be used for household disaster relief when funds are available. Does NOT help with security deposit assistance or other fees such as late fees etc.

Offers free 30-minute legal consultations on noncriminal matters including divorce, bankruptcy, landlord/tenant concerns and more. Legal consultations are meant to provide advice and direction on how to proceed with a legal matter.

Provides child welfare services through programs in foster care, adoption, and permanency. Foster parents provide alternative living arrangements when it has been determined tha a child cannot remain in the home of his/her biological parents. Children are matched with families who are able to best meet their needs.

Distributes fresh produce weekly to low-income residents of Bucks County.

Implements Community Development Block Grant Programs. Comprehensively guides planning policy for the County to promote economic development, strengthen communities, and protect resources

Grows fresh fruits and vegetables that are donated to the community, affiliated pantries, and mutual aid networks. Also provides volunteer opportunities. Offers community farming days monthly for volunteers and serves as educational demonstration on farming for community members.

Assists in planing and preventing pregnancy by providing a variety of birth control options. Offers HIV/STD testing and treatment and PAPs.

Offers one on one case management. Provides referrals to local agencies/help.

Helps beneficiaries understand and enroll in their Medicare and other health insurance benefits, including the Medicare prescription benefit; files appeals, assists with billing/claim issues, and helps with applying for eligibility assistance program that may help lower Medicare costs. Volunteer training provided.

Keystone Star 4 accredited, DHS licensed center that provides hands-on, learning environment for children within the community. They also partner with the homeless shelter to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate place for the children to learn and grow.

Provides the following services: individual, family, and group therapy services. Psychiatric evaluation that includes medication consultation, and medication management services, crisis management and intervention.

Offers support services including case management with an assigned support coach; workshops and training regarding academic success, financial management, and life skills; tutoring by learning specialists in writing, math, and information technology courses; career development support; and mentorship. Also provides assistance with basic needs and access to health and wellness resources.

Support services provided by a peer to assist in mental health recovery.

Provides individualized employment, education, and training services to promote self-worth, the development of natural supports, and community integration.
