During extreme heat, provides space as a cooling center operational during normal business hours.

Working Papers: Any student 14-17 years old, prior to high school graduation, must have working papers for employment. Applications are taken at school district administration offices. The student does not have to be present to obtain the papers, parents can fill out the paperwork. To obtain working papers, a copy of the student's birth certificate must be taken to the school administration office. Call local school district for information on location and office hours. Summer Enrichment (Vacation Education): Some schools in the County offer non-credit enrichment courses over the summer break. These courses are designed to broaden the students experiences, keep minds and imaginations active, and offer peer interaction. Subjects that may be offered include: computers, cartooning, music, babysitting, chess, foreign languages, photography, etc. Some schools offer school social worker services.

IRS Tax Office offers help to resolve a tax problem and answer questions about how the tax law applies to an individual tax return.

Provides the full range of library services including browsing and circulating collections of materials such as books, magazines, and other media for all ages; library reference and research assistance; access to Internet-connected computers, printers, other electronic devices, and photocopiers; and spaces for meetings and quiet study. Allows borrowing of items for library cardholders. Sponsors and hosts an array of educational, instructional, and cultural programming for all ages.

Provides flood protection, reservoir water supplies, water science, and information and planning to the citizens of Chester County in an effort to sustain the natural quality, quantity, and biodiversity of the County's water resources. Programs include flood protection, storm and water quality improvement, sustainable water resources management, and water information and outreach. This service does not supply water.

Administers, monitors, and coordinates Early Intervention services and services for people with an intellectual disability. Coordinates service providers that offer a broad range of supports and services including supports coordination, early intervention services, in-home supports and respite services, employment and adult day services, and community living and Lifesharing services.

Variety Club Camp and Developmental Center offers a wide array of programs and services for children with disabilities. Including after school care, Saturday and/or weekend respite, summer programs, and sports and aquatics programs

CPHS utilizes foster homes for stressed animals who are not handling the shelter environment well and need to be in a home environment.

Provides needs assessment and coordinates referrals to shelters, transitional housing, Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) programs, and other needed services for homeless veterans.

Provides decent, safe and sanitary housing for eligible low-income individuals, families and senior citizens. Provides information about eligibility for and vacancies in subsidized and non-subsidized housing properties in Lehigh County. Eligibility criteria include income guidelines, age and/or disability status. Waiting list for all programs is 1 - 2 years. Administers the Section 8 program. Eligibility is determined by income and family size. Approximately 1-2 year waiting list.

Health Insurance Counselors help older Pennsylvanians understand their health insurance options under Medicare, long term care insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare Managed Care Programs, and other health insurance and public benefit programs.

Municipal office

Offers support to promote family stability in coping with the unique challenges of living with HIV/AIDS. Educates the community to prevent the transmission of HIV and to reduce the stigma associated with HIV and AIDS.

Delivers supportive pregnancy counseling to expectant parents, as well as parents of children under the age of one. Counselors provide educational, emotional and material support to individuals and families in either the home or office setting.
